Question: What will Hillary do now?
Response: She’ll keep going on the road to the White House, where she’ll meet the nation’s first black president.
Love. It.

That is so wrong. And yet…so right.

I’m thinking she’d make a great ambassador to Iraq.
Perhaps she fly over in one of those thirty 737s that Iraq just bought using our money.
Nim, ham hock of liberty
Cafferty has his moments of stupid, but he gets a lifetime pass just for, “Is Anna Nicole Smith still dead, Wolf?”
Dreggas
Ambassador to Outer Mongolia sounds better.
TheFountainHead
Cafferty’s like the formerly alcoholic Uncle you have who isn’t as much fun anymore since he stopped drinking. All things being equal, he’s still light years better than the vast majority of the talking heads out there.
If I could get all my news from Jack Cafferty, Rachel Maddow, Keith Olbermann, and Anderson Cooper (so that my girlfriend will watch with me) I would.

Ugh. Just got back from Riverdaughter’s site and the Left Coaster.
Wow. Just … wow. Clinton’s flip-flop on FL and MI is just gospel to them, and they’ll cling to it like a bunch of goddamned creationists.
Over 65 and undereducated, from what I hear. Good. Have fun dying off.

Same here, GMT. And the hatred, wow!

The response you’ll hear on their November 2, 2008 broadcast.
Tim (The Other One)
Just spent some time at those two sites. Who’s idea was it to do “the black guy” and the “first chick” in the same election year ? Especially after the last 7 years of shit ?
DrDave
Dr. Maddow has been my one of my primary sources of political news for 4 years. Hiring her as an analyst was MSNBC’s best move since they rehired Olbermann. (If they are really smart, they will give her her own show.)

I’m tellin yall, the dude aint near so vetted as you might think yet. I still say the dreaded “dead boy/white woman” scenario could raise its ugly head before the convention…

At this point, I think I’d vote for him anyway. Then just quietly leave the country and hope for the best.
MJ
I think at this point Hillary fighting on is like the Black Knight in Monty Python And The Holy Grail.

Wow. You are not kidding. I especially like the recent post that once again says the only possible unity ticket is with Clinton at the top. Oh, and being pandered to is a good thing. And the rules don’t matter. That is a popular theme; that the rules are wrong, so Clinton is right.
And, incidentally, if these Florida (hey, thats me, and I feel great!) and Michigan people think they have been ‘disenfranchised,’ well, they should maybe find an older black gentleman, maybe, oh, 65 or 70, and ask him about what it feels like.
Idiotic
THIS IS EXCELLENT NEWS!!
FOR HILLARY!!

That it is, myiq. That it is.

Clinton is remaining in the race for one of two reasons:
She wants to try some shenanigans at the convention.
She wants to wound Obama so badly that he’ll lose the general.
Neither reason speaks well of her.

Only elitists follow rules.
Or something.

You need to spell it roolz. Then loudly proclaim that you don’t care about the roolz, you just want MI and FL votes counted! Or alternately, you say everyone broke the roolz, but people only count it when it benefits Obama.
One of the chief things that’s distinguished Democrats and Republicans these past seven years, is that it’s been mostly the Democrats who invoke Rule of Law, while Republicans mutter things like would you be happier if Saddam was in power? Would you torture a terrorist if he knew here the bomb was? Huh? Would you? Glenn Greenwald has been reduced to arguing that the President shouldn’t do things that are against the law.

Those sites ain’t got nothing on No Quarter.
If you want teh crazy go over and read the post: “I Call a Spade a Spade”.
Nice, huh?
Kevin
“I call a spade a spade”, and “Hitler look-alike”, just from a cursory look at it. That person has really gone round the bend.
bostondreams
Damn, that was an..interesting..post. I was screaming Godwin the whole time.
And SusanUnPC is just…wow.

Oh, you have no idea. She has virtually taken over the blog and is batshit bongo for Hillary.
The site is run by ex-CIA guy Larry Johnson who was very involved in publicising the Wilson’s side of the story in the Plame affair and was a guest on Olbermann’s show a number of times. It used to be a great foreign affairs and intelligence issues site.
Now, Keith is the devil in a blue dress and virtually every post has links to Hannity, Rushbo, Dickie Morris, et al.
The comments section is both unintentionally hilarious and disturbing.
Perry Como
That has to be a spoof.
bostondreams
Nope. Not that I can tell. They’re real..and they’re spectacular..ly unhinged.

SusanUnHinged is the left blogosphere’s version of the clearly mentally unstable woman posting at Atlas Shrugs.
I believe that both MyDD and TalkLeft in the end will come around and support Obama. I don’t have the same faith in No Quarters.
A.Political
Hey Rick Taylor, I remember you awhile back actually sitting on the fence post over at TalkLeft, you were asking honest questions regarding both nominees, respected that, but as time wore on I watched you start to get caught up in the shitstorm over there, if you go back now and read the comments, anyone who dares venture forth a dissenting opinion is ganged up upon and belittled in the most Malkinite way. It’s truly sad what happened to that blog.
The crime/law posts get no comments anymore now that every sane person has left since Big Tent Armando hi-jacked the place and somehow convinced Jeralyn to follow his lead
Speaking for me only, A.Political.

I’m just picturing the finale of the Democratic convention, after Obama delivers another speech for the ages and is cheered off the stage with balloons and confetti…..and Hillary, somewhere in the crowd ….
“Come back!! I’ll bite your legs off!”

There are a few good posters there who still try to bring some balance. I’ve been very impressed with 1jpb; he seems to be very knowledgeable, and generally polite. He’s also consistently troll-rated. It’s pretty sad, the place has become an echo chamber, and some of the strangest opinions are the common wisdom there. Of course the popular vote counts both Florida and Michigan; it’s Obama’s fault he took his name off the ballot in Michigan after all. Of course the popular vote under-reports or ignores caucus states; people in those states should push to have regular primaries. Of course Obama is responsible for blocking revotes in Michigan and Florida; anyone who says otherwise can be lectured by BTD and then banned from a thread. And on and on.

Jack Cafferty is like Dana Carvey’s Grumpy Old Man on SNL back in the day, only 100 times more awesome. CNN’s got a gem in him.
