    I forwarded this to one of my best friends. She is single, lives alone, and participates in Sheltie rescue. She has as many as eight of the loudest, yappingest dogs you can imagine living in the back room and yard of her house at any one time while she tries to find homes for them.

    Once when I was very down I googled Youtube for “laughing babies”. I never admitted this to anyone till now, but, yeah: watching home videos of babies laughing is pretty much a guaranteed upper. Like butch guy singing puppies to sleep…

    OT: Listening to “Air Time on NPR.” The topic is what should Hillary and her supporters’ part be in the convention?” They are taking calls. The Clintonistas are dominating the phone calls. Needless to say, their idea is that the convention should be all about Hillary and her supporters until Obama is nominated on Friday. Sexism, sexism, sexism!

    I sing to my dog to get him to go to sleep. I’ve been doing it long enough since he was a puppy it’s a training cue now.

    He comes over to me and I sing the same “Goodnight Greggie” song to him and he lays down and goes to sleep every time. He often won’t go to bed until I sing the song.
