1) If John Edwards’ “political career is over”, how come Bill Blow-Me-in-the-Big-House Clinton gets to speak at the convention, let alone claim SLAP IN THE FACE over perceived, delusional slights?
2) How informed, smart and articulate is Luke Russert? Everyone blathers about their kids, warranted or not, but until Tim died, I had no idea he was actually underselling his son. There’s a good legacy.
3) Who was that boring and banal man sitting in for Tom Brokaw on MTP last Sunday asking all those silly, silly questions?

Ok – I’m sorry to use this word, but I’m sick and tired of how big of pU$$!&s liberals are. Our guy has led John McCain in the polls every day for almost 5 months. Have there been ups and downs? Yes. But John McCain has not led in the poll of polls since April 15.
Every answer to every question that is about the horse race and why Obama isn’t doing better should be, “Senator Obama has led John McCain in the polls every day since April 15. You should be asking the McCain campaign these questions.”

Once again, and I know we keep saying this over and over, it’s not WordPress that sucks, it’s your host that sucks. We see a WordPress error because WordPress is working, but the connection to your MySql database isn’t. Do not blame WordPress for being the last man standing.

As Cleek pointed out to me on our offloaded sidebar conversation, two of the busiest four blogs in the ‘sphere are running WordPress. So it’s pretty unlikely the problem is the scalability of WP per se, as opposed to say the DB configuration.

Then again, teh mantis’s rates (above) are hard to pass up, so maybe you really should get another CMS installed — which will then fail equally as dramatically, because virtually no modern CMS is going to work if the underlying database isn’t accessible.
Maybe there’s some flat-file-based CMS you should consider…. :)
