Wow, ask and ye shall get. I just left a comment wondering where the football thread was.
Steelers will beat the Colts. Just not the Colts year. Was happy to see the Jets SLAUGHTER the Rams. Baaaa. And am hoping the Giants clip the Eagles tonight. Go G-Men!

that was the ugliest flea flicker i’ve ever seen. can’t complain when it works, though.
At least you get to watch it. I’m stuck watching the Chiefs, which will be a decent team again when pigs fly. Drawback to living in Missouri…
The cable company needs to have it so if you have their box you can pick which game you see. The assumption that just because you live there you automatically want to watch the hometown team no matter how bad they are is ridiculous.

Mewelde Moore is the best free-agent pickup ever.

I’m with you on the Steelers, unless they’re playing my hometown team, the reigning SB Champion NY Giants (couldn’t resist throwing that in there) or the previous SB champs, the Indianapolis Colts.
Yeah, so I’m a Peyton Manning fan. Sue me (if you dare, as I have a law degree and would take you for everything you’ve got and then I’d go after your family’s possessions).
Seriously, all I ever want is a good, competitive game and that’s what we’ve gotten.
On the other hand, I hope the Giants jump to an early first quarter lead in tonight’s game vs. the Eagles and never look back.
And hey, what’s with the Titans going 9-0? Ridiculous, methinks.

i agree about his delivery… almost a sidearm thing. if his shoulder is affecting him that much he should not be in.

re: Harrison, supposedly if you get one bad concussion subsequent concussions are more likely. Although he’s back in now.

And the Lions were blacked out again. (It goes without saying that they lost; 0-16 here we come!) Can’t say they don’t deserve it.
Sorry, John, but the Ravens look like more than a transition year team. It’s gonna be a great game on Dec. 14 in Baltimore…
For what it’s worth, the Baltimore/Pittsburgh rivalry is one of the best in the NFL — maybe it’s my love of physical, smashmouth football, I don’t know.
But the Ravens could take the division down to the wire. And I couldn’t be happier.

That’s great, but who are the Chefs?
TheFountainHead
Agree, Moore looks like a very smart addition.
TheFountainHead
New kicker ain’t shabby either.
John Cole
Did someone roofie Marvin Harrison?
kommrade jakevich
I believe you’ll find it’s Go Colts. Boo Giant Bumblebees.

@Joel:
Great Googley Moogley
Classic.
I’m Batman ruled too
I’m really looking forward to the Niners embarrassing themselves on national TV tomorrow night.

@John Cole:
Found this ad while looking for the Snicker’s Chef add above. Seems apropos
ambboogie
You take that back John Cole!!!
TheFountainHead
Hehe, if not a roofie then perhaps chloroform?
Josh E.
Ben’s delivery looks weird
Cornelius
Sorry, no.

See Young, Steve.

First thing that’s gone wrong for Barack all week — Da Bears lost.
Josh E.
Sad to see that drive end in a FG. Luckily the defense is dominating.
TheFountainHead
This is pathetic. No reason the colts should be winning this game.
Josh E.
Hell damn fart
Bubblegum Tate
That was one sorry-ass giveaway of a game. Goddammit.
kommrade jakevich
How ’bout them Colts?
Fine. Be like that then.
Geoduck
You could be living here in the Seattle area, where they’ve spread the disaster around to every single sport and team.

I feel very warmly towards your Stillers, since they beat Washington last weekend and accurately predicted the outcome of the presidential election.
Watching the Iggles game now, hopin’ and prayin’.

Two things I was not sure would happen in my lifetime:
Colts win in Pittsburgh
Democrat takes Indiana
Not a bad week.

Yo…
Get behind the Falcons…. they’re… decent this year.
