Come for the politics, stay for the snark.

Mediocre white men think RFK Jr’s pathetic midlife crisis is inspirational. The bar is set so low for them, it’s subterranean.

“The difference between stupidity and genius is that genius has its limits.”

You don’t get to peddle hatred on saturday and offer condolences on sunday.

If you still can’t see these things even now, maybe politics isn’t your forte and you should stop writing about it.

Fear or fury? The choice is ours.

Republicans don’t lie to be believed, they lie to be repeated.

Someone should tell Republicans that violence is the last refuge of the incompetent, or possibly the first.

Dear elected officials: Trump is temporary, dishonor is forever.

Everybody saw this coming.

I’d hate to be the candidate who lost to this guy.

If you thought you’d already seen people saying the stupidest things possible on the internet, prepare yourselves.

Is it irresponsible to speculate? It is irresponsible not to.

Too often we confuse noise with substance. too often we confuse setbacks with defeat.

Fuck these fucking interesting times.

Nothing says ‘pro-life’ like letting children go hungry.

Every reporter and pundit should have to declare if they ever vacationed with a billionaire.

I am pretty sure these ‘journalists’ were not always such a bootlicking sycophants.

This fight is for everything.

You know it’s bad when the Project 2025 people have to create training videos on “How To Be Normal”.

A comment in an earlier thread:

This morning, Glenn Beck was lamenting the fact that the lefty blogosphere and elitist MSM wasn’t on Blago like they were on Palin. “Have you heard anyone call this guy stupid?”

I went to google news to see if they had a search for the transcript, so I could make fun of Beck and point to hundreds of places where Democrats are calling Blagojevich stupid and to note that it must be something kind of special to have to wait three months to find someone dumber than Sarah Palin, and this is the result of my search:

On second thought, maybe that was what I was looking for after all.

Obama presidency implodes even before it begins:

Liberals are now ruing the days they were lionizing Patrick Fitzgerald. The Blagojevich scandal is just Fitz’s opening shot in a thundering salvo which will blow away the rotten edifice of the Obama presidency before it gets off the ground. As was astutely observed in many quarters, the Blagojevich indictment was a preemptive strike before the corrupt Obama and his minions could get their dirty hands on the reins of the Department of Justice and replace Fitzgerald with their own apparatchik who would cover up the whole mess. They may still try to do it, but I predict that they will reap a whirlwind of their own destruction if they do. If not, Fitz will still methodically take them down brick by brick.

Mark my words, l’affaire Blagojevich is just the tip of the iceberg looming on a distant horizon. Many other matters are still under investigation, a few of which are already known: Rezko, Ayers and Wright, for instance. A lot more is waiting to be publicly uncovered (although Fitz already knows a lot more than he is letting on). As an example there is the extraordinary blizzard of small contributions to the Obama campaign. No, don’t tell me it was just ordinary Joes and Janes giving away their hard-earned dollars (although perhaps some of them may have been unwittingly fleeced by computer hackers hired by the campaign to loot their credit cards and online bank accounts). There is also the corrupt wheeling and dealing with the Clintons, connected to her appointment as Secretary of State. I predict that other nefarious deeds will be revealed, which are simply too shocking to be believed!

The Obama presidency will turn out to be the vilest and most disgusting chapter in American history. Fortunately it seems like it will also be the briefest chapter.

    Merry Fitzmass to you all.

Why do conservatives think there’s something more to be learned about Reverend Wright and Ayres?

They always include Reverend Wright and Ayres in the litany of "bombshells waiting to go off".

Both Wright and Ayres haven’t shut up since Obama was elected. If they’re waiting to drop a bombshell, they’re burying it in a lot of unsuppressed speech.

Is it because they have to have a LIST to establish a PATTERN of nefarious associations? Can’t Obama just fire back with a list of honorable associations? He has some pretty impressive backers. Isn’t it a wash? The whole guilt by association thing baffles me. There are no rules.

This morning, Glenn Beck was lamenting the fact that the lefty blogosphere and elitist MSM wasn’t on Blago like they were on Palin. “Have you heard anyone call this guy stupid?”

A bit late to the party, but, given the context, this certainly needs to be mentioned. Josh Marshall at Talking Points Memo highlights this report from TPM reader PN:

Simply put, Blagojevich is that deadly combination of ignorance and arrogance. One or the other is survivable, but the two, combined, are not.

I know from speaking with many of my friends who have worked with him over the years (including on his campaigns) that he is as dumb as a box of rocks. (The campaign folks would never let him talk to the press, unscripted, ala Palin.)

… Fundamentally, the guy is an idiot, as the taped conversations prove. He is simply a jackass.

So, yes, Glenn. Lots of people, many of them evil evil Demoncrats, are calling Blagojevic not just "stupid", but also "ignorant", "dumb", "idiot", and "jackass". Sounds like the two of you could relate.
