And don’t stop with your representatives and senators. Call nationwide. It’s especially important to pressure the Blue Dogs ( house.gov/melancon/BlueDogs/Member Page.html ). Also, if you want a public option, please check whipcongress.com/ for lists of those who support a PO via reconciliation (now up to 35 Senators and 120 Representatives) and those who don’t.

Yes, I called my rep’s office yesterday and expressed support for reconciliation etc. and was told she wanted HCR to pass “any way it could.” Told the staffer I just wanted them to know there was a LOT of support out there and not to be intimidated by the GOP robocall crowd. When I pointed out they were never gonna vote for a Dem anyway, the staffer chuckled and said, “Yeah, that’s what I thought too.”
The staffer also said just hearing from supporters meant a lot. So yes, call.
