Come for the politics, stay for the snark.

Nancy smash is sick of your bullshit.

The republican ‘Pastor’ of the House is an odious authoritarian little creep.

“Just close your eyes and kiss the girl and go where the tilt-a-whirl takes you.” ~OzarkHillbilly

Oppose, oppose, oppose. do not congratulate. this is not business as usual.

They love authoritarianism, but only when they get to be the authoritarians.

🎶 Those boots were made for mockin’ 🎵

“Perhaps I should have considered other options.” (head-desk)

These are not very smart people, and things got out of hand.

Relentless negativity is not a sign that you are more realistic.

It’s a good piece. click on over. but then come back!!

Republicans choose power over democracy, every day.

Something needs to be done about our bogus SCOTUS.

The rest of the comments were smacking Boebert like she was a piñata.

SCOTUS: It’s not “bribery” unless it comes from the Bribery region of France. Otherwise, it’s merely “sparkling malfeasance”.

“Facilitate” is an active verb, not a weasel word.

… pundit janitors mopping up after the gop

There are more Russians standing up to Putin than Republicans.

Republicans in disarray!

Let there be snark.

I am pretty sure these ‘journalists’ were not always such a bootlicking sycophants.

Let’s delete this post and never speak of this again.

Jack be nimble, jack be quick, hurry up and indict this prick.

Everybody saw this coming.

We will not go back.

Is there anything a Republican can do that gets them sent to the permanent Room of Shame? Apparently not.

Tom DeLay–the most corrupt asshole to sit in Congress over the last fifty years–will be allowed to spew his drivel on CNN’s lame ass Sunday show. The grifter rehabilitation tour continues.

Steve Benen over at Washington Monthly was spot on when he wrote:

For crying out loud. DeLay, arguably the single most corrupt congressional leader in a generation, resigned in disgrace — and under criminal indictment — nearly five years ago. He’s since become a reality-show contestant, has no role in American politics at any level, and is not seeking public office. What possible reason could there be to have DeLay on as the featured guest on “State of the Union”?

I guess Abramoff will get his own show on CNN when he gets outs with DeLay as his Ed McMahon.

Perhaps the Mayans were right. Or perhaps Candy Crowley needs to update her rolodex. If it is Sunday, the stupid is on CNN.

So it goes.

Cheers

Why the hell is his indictment still sitting there doing nothing? Is there something or someone obstructing its advancement? It was my understanding the evidence against him was pretty solid, it was the main reason behind his resignation (that and the whole mess was guaranteeing him a loss) so I’m just cornfuzzled why he still walks among the wingnut wefarers.

In CNN’s defense, it isn’t like the bench is deep with principled conservatives. They went down like the Dodos a while ago. And the few left live in tenement shacks under assumed names and have no countertops to measure. Delay is a GOP hero, was, is, and seems like always will be.

He was framed, like Roger Rabbit, and still dances as fast as he can. The GOP is just bugfuck crazy. There is no other way to put it. And whenever any sanity breaks out, it is mobbed and pitch forked to death by the tea baggers toting Obama/Hitler signs, and is promptly buried beneith Fox News bodily waste.

I mean, what is a duplicitous cable news channel to do for finding untarnished wingnuts, it’s not like they grow on trees, and with the current demand for false equivalency being what it is. Jeebus, quit peeing in the public cesspool, why don’t ya. :)

I imagine that “conservatives” with intact brains are rather thin on the ground.

Can’t you mix it up a little with a ‘Tally Ho’ or ‘Huzzah!’ now and then?

Oh hell, I can remember the 90s when Dick Fucking Armey was the #1 GOP Shitbird in Congress and he went on TV to say how he was “not a fan of the federal government”. Still picked up the paycheck, though, right asshole?

meh. Spitzer is working on the same thing. the GOP is as usual just ahead of the curve, having figured out that being a celebrity means never having to say you’re sorry.

i have no objection to all of the more militant goopers quitting gov’t and getting reality show jobs. maybe DeLay can mudwrestle Hamscher.
