Thanks, idiots, for making us the laughingstock of the world again over this Park51 community center in Manhattan:

PLANS to build a state-of-the-art library next to Republican catastrophe Sarah Palin are causing outrage across mainstream America.

Campaigners have described the project as insensitive and a deliberate act of provocation by people with brains.

The issue is forming a dividing line in advance of November’s mid-term congressional elections with candidates being forced to declare whether they have ever been to a library or spoken to someone who has books in their home..

    David Broder’s column today explains that the Republican Party is completely off the rails, and this is all Barack Obama’s fault, because of the “panicked” walkback (that didn’t happen). The old fool devotes half a column to the (non) mosque controversy without ever using the words “gingrich”, ‘palin’, or ‘foxnews’, and half to the broken Senate, which after two years he apparently just noticed. Not even a shadow of a hint of a clue about his own complicity in all of this.
