Make no mistake — the GOP will make significant gains this November. I’m not trying to create false hope or wear blinders. But if we hold the House and Senate, at the cost of a few dozen Blue Dogs, it won’t just be a victory for us, but it’ll sunder the GOP. They expect to win both chambers. If we stop them, the simmering battle between the teabaggers and GOP establishment will be epic.
That’s a battle I want to see. Pass the popcorn.

I signed up to volunteer for Gary Peters (MI-9). Been sending donations as I’m able but a number of folks on this site convinced me to volunteer.

@Chat Noir: Glad to hear it. MI-9 is my home district and I think Peters is a good egg. Didn’t think that district would ever elect a Democrat.

Often campaigns will have programs that allow you to make monthly donations, deducted automatically.
I am having the Barbara Boxer campaign take a small amount each month- over the past 6 months or so, it is barely noticeable to me, but of course adds up in the end.

Don’t give to the DCCC! They’ll just waste it on blue dogs that don’t stand a chance. Try PCCC instead. They’ll make sure it gets to house Dems that actually vote like real Dems and could use the help.
Once again, I have no idea why anyone listens to Kos about anything.

I’ve ponied up twice via BJ’s candidate Blue box. I’ve also donated direct to Steve Kagan and Julie Lassa in WI, and Carol Shea-Porter in NH and Kurt Schraeder in OR.
Money is not a great proxy for enthusiasm, but it does help me feel less helpless in the face of the clown cars full of idiot fascists that seem to be headed to elections near us.

I give $10/mo each to DCCC and DSCC through ActBlue…does that count?

Baron Hill, please. He’s got a hell of a race in IN-09 and we’ve almost pulled him totally out of the Blue Dog caucus. (Voted yes on climate change, card check and HCR. Didn’t sign the letter demanding extension of the Bush tax cuts for >$250K.) This is a winnable race and Hill is becoming a better Democrat.

Unless there’s a vote on the Bush tax cuts, there’s not a chance in hell I’m giving to the DCCC this year. If they can’t–or won’t–organize a vote like this, they aren’t worth warm spit.
I’ve already given around $300 to individual dems; I will probably be giving more.

I wish I could tell you to give to Dennis McDonald, but our five-term incumbent is inexplicably invincible.
