Come for the politics, stay for the snark.

It is possible to do the right thing without the promise of a cookie.

The republican speaker is a slippery little devil.

Let’s delete this post and never speak of this again.

I really should read my own blog.

I am hating the bye week. My running back Adrian Peterson is benched, as is my QB Tony Romo, so I’m on spareness this week.

In OT matters, here’s my nominee for the Radical Center Party mascot.

Yeah, I’ve got Perterson on the bench because of the bye week. Thankfully my opponent this week doesn’t match up with me on paper regardless. I’m counting on Tom Brady, Brandon Marshall, Antonio Gates, Peyton Hillis, and the Steelers’ D to carry me this week.

I’ve got Jason Snelling in my swing position this week (Timmy Hightower is my other RB, and Jermaine Gresham would be my other possible swing). Any thoughts on that?

My Cardinals are getting slaughtered in SD and they are now playing a UDFA rookie QB.

ETA: Jackson seems to be a third-down back, not a starter.

    Correct.

I am starting to wonder if he [Kuhn] should get the start.

For the time being. Even though he’ll cost us right now, I think we’ve got to go after Marshawn Lynch. Kuhn runs it up the gut well enough, but he doesn’t have the moves to make the cut to get to the second level- so 7 to 11 yards will be his biggest pickup in a game, though he might do that quite a few times per game- and that 4.7 speed isn’t enough to get him to the corner quickly enough.

I’d like to see Kuhn get more opportunities to carry the ball at his natural position- fullback- in a 2-back set with Grant, Lynch or whoever.

I wonder if the Raven’s would’ve been able to get in field goal range and have Cundiff come through had the officials made the right call and called a safety for a hold in the end zone. I think the odds would’ve been more in the Raven’s favor had that call been made, but it’s fun to think about. Or was the holding penalty after the punt and the right call was made? Weird play.
