Indeed, your Bears have been doing themselves proud so far. Now, please Flying Spaghetti Monster, let the Bills kick the preening Jets in their mercenary trash asses!

Yeah, I’ve got Perterson on the bench because of the bye week. Thankfully my opponent this week doesn’t match up with me on paper regardless. I’m counting on Tom Brady, Brandon Marshall, Antonio Gates, Peyton Hillis, and the Steelers’ D to carry me this week.
I’ve got Jason Snelling in my swing position this week (Timmy Hightower is my other RB, and Jermaine Gresham would be my other possible swing). Any thoughts on that?

@Legalize: I just dropped Hightower, actually. Go with Gresham.
@NobodySpecial:
Yeah, I have no choice but to roll with Hightower this week because of the byes. I really want to pull the trigger on Gresham this week – good matchup with the Brownies.
@morzer: Yea and the Falcons are in a trap game here against the Niners. Big day in the ATL with the Braves in desperation just up the road from the dome.

Yeah, my team sucks and I’m sitting my 1st, 2nd, and 3rd round draft picks this week (Stephen Jackson, DeAngelo Williams, and the Carolina’s Steve Smith) because they’ve all been sucking. Last place, here I come!!
The Packers’ defense is a little bit nicked- no Brandon Chillar or Sam Shields, Harris and Bigby still on the P.U.P. list and Burnett’s left the game to get x-rays….
And it looks like McCarthy wants the offense to establish the run.

@asiangrrlMN: It’s pretty good. Even Chloe, who does not eat bread of any kind insisted on a taste (and then jumped on my lap to hoover my shirt). But then I’m of the opinion that onions make almost everything better.
ETA: Jackson seems to be a third-down back, not a starter.
Correct.
I am starting to wonder if he [Kuhn] should get the start.
For the time being. Even though he’ll cost us right now, I think we’ve got to go after Marshawn Lynch. Kuhn runs it up the gut well enough, but he doesn’t have the moves to make the cut to get to the second level- so 7 to 11 yards will be his biggest pickup in a game, though he might do that quite a few times per game- and that 4.7 speed isn’t enough to get him to the corner quickly enough.
I’d like to see Kuhn get more opportunities to carry the ball at his natural position- fullback- in a 2-back set with Grant, Lynch or whoever.
I feel divided, in that I have no quarrel with the Bears, but it is mighty hard to cheer for Jay Cutler…

I wonder if the Raven’s would’ve been able to get in field goal range and have Cundiff come through had the officials made the right call and called a safety for a hold in the end zone. I think the odds would’ve been more in the Raven’s favor had that call been made, but it’s fun to think about. Or was the holding penalty after the punt and the right call was made? Weird play.

Five sacks on Cutler already, and he looks seriously pouty.
Not unless [the Patriots] discover the meaning of defense. So far, they’ve been as convincing as a boy with a wet paper bag trying to stop an enraged elephant.
You are correct. I can still hope they come around , tho. Them and the Cardinals. *groan*

I am hating the bye week. My running back Adrian Peterson is benched, as is my QB Tony Romo, so I’m on spareness this week.
In OT matters, here’s my nominee for the Radical Center Party mascot.

My prediction – Stillers 23-17 over the Ravens. Let’s hope Ray Lewis doesn’t murder anyone while visiting the Steel City.

Packers take the hot knife to the Lions’ butter on the first possession. The slaughter is on.

Bills rolling over early, but at least this Ravens/Steelers game looks like a good one.

My FFL teams will probably both lose. I played Ryan Mathews and benched tolbert. I also benched Steve Jackson.
My Cardinals are getting slaughtered in SD and they are now playing a UDFA rookie QB.
The only cheery note is that Pittsburgh lost.
Also the Patriots havent played yet so they will probably win tomorrow night.
