I’m doing GOTV only because I was unvoluntarily invested in the Phil Gramm/Clinton wealth depletion plan. I’m autoenrolled for a small donation to OFA each month, also2.

The most important race in the country is Grayson’s. If he wins, future Dems might take his example and dare to be bold. If he loses…
Btw, Is this where “Professor John Cole” blogs.
Professor John Cole puts it more bluntly:
When you bomb people and kill their family, friends and neighbors, it pisses them off. They probably even form lifelong grudges when they find their mother and children in thousands of bloody pieces in their former home. This is not rocket science. If they were not sympathetic to the Taliban and al Qaeda before, after you bomb the shit out of them, they will be.
That’s from an excellent Jonathan Hari piece at Huffington Post.
Actually, I knew this was Cole’s joint. I just thought it was funny that Hari referred to him as a professor. I’d assumed he had him confused with Juan Cole…unless John is, in fact, a prof.

FWIW, this ActBlue link did cause me to donate to the Democratic candidate in KS-01. It doesn’t move your meter, but this link and all of the comments did inform my decision.
Just got robo-polled in SF, more like a push poll than anything.
Starts out straight, then veers into slanted language like “Nancy Pelosi’s blah blah health care plan” and so on.
edit: After it was over, I realized they didn’t even check that I was in Nancy Pelosi’s district (which I’m not – shout out to Jackie Speier!!!!)
was from “Political Research” never heard of them.

@david mizner: Defying all evidence and logic, it would indeed appear that John is. I find it somewhat more plausible that Tunch is teaching the classes and John just stays home and gets drunk, though.

Just donated $100, divided between several candidates on the Act Blue link. I’m donating to a few more that weren’t on the list, so have to go find places to donate to them.
Thanks for keeping the link there and reminding us occasionally. I wasn’t in a financial position to donate when the link first went up but am glad I am able to now.
I am dazed and confused because I just scanned the MSM for whatever political news was out there. That was probably a mistake.
It seems obvious that either we DFHs are delusional or the MSM is.
The main evidence I can find of our own sanity is that even Nate Silverman admits that it looks like we saved the Senate. This is an improvement.
Also, a few sources are admitting that several house races [ranging from 75 to 109!] are quite close. Perhaps we are making progress in those areas. Maybe some polling companies are being more honest. Or, it could be that the MSM is just beginning to publish information that is outside of their own agendas.
A little clarity would be welcome.

Glad I was finally able to afford to do it. BTW, how did you let John Cole out-Tunku you?

I’ve grown bored with Tunku for now.

Ah, sigh…the romance is over. He’s most entertaining as an occasional treat. Regular exposure is too much.

In the good news department, DSCC shows poll results with Democrats ahead in four races, including Illinois, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.

Just contributed. Thanks for the ActBlue link.
