The Tea Party Patriots are rushing to corral the mob unleashed when they accidentally published the private cell numbers of newly elected TPP heroes, as well as the numbers of a few who lost. I thought this was funny:
We need to offer our sincere apologies to a John Koster, Jesse Kelly, and Keith Fimian who ran for office and did not get elected but who were inadvertently added to our list. Additionally, we had a long call with David Harmer from California tonight. He is in a recount, and is dealing with the results of what appears to be large scale voter fraud, and may not win his office. The last thing he and his family need is pressure from us, and we apologize for any stress we may have added to their lives.
For the TPP, “voter fraud” is what the rest of us would call “losing an election”.
The Claremont Institute also got a taste of TPP tactics when they dared to schedule a Freshman orientation at the same time as the TPP’s indoctrination. Here’s the president:
“After a mass e-mail was sent out calling for Tea Party members to harass me, effectively, I have received many nasty and threatening calls saying we should ‘stand down’ and that ‘they have my number,’” he wrote in an e-mail.

Corral away. Maybe like a bunch of lemmings, they’ll follow each other off the cliff.

The Tea Party is proving to be what it’s like to clone a couple million Newt Gingriches, complete with nasty, combative attitude but with much dimmer intellect.
The Grand Panjandrum
This is Coyote v. Roadrunner shit. Without Roadrunner.

The sheer irresponsibility displayed over and over by the people who create this hysteria and then realize that they can’t control it would be funny if it weren’t so dangerous. Watching even Karl Rove become engulfed and eaten by their own creation is sort of amusing and satisfying, but it’s a grim satisfaction.
Forget nanobots running amok and taking over the world, the tea baggers are the real grey goo.

What people fail to understand is that the Tea Party is made up of old people with telephones and nothing but time.
David
Teabaggers freely give others a piece of their mind. In fact, they give and give and give until they have nothing left.
Bill E Pilgrim
Oh and great title.
“Send it off in a letter to yourself” would be a good solution if someone could trick them into it.
dmsilev
Sheesh. Don’t they know that the monster *always* escapes its chains and turns on its creator?

Unconstrained rage cannot be harnessed and directed? You don’t say!

I was thinking along the lines of invoking a demon. [If I call him up, I can control him.]
Right.
Edited for grammar.

This made my morning. You think liberals have circular firing squads? These bozos are gonna show you how it’s done – and they’ll probably wind up using live ammo. I think we’re screwed as a nation, but at least we’ll have great entertainment as we swirl down the bowl.

Where’s that natural 20 when you really need it!

Heh, indeed.
Comrade Darkness
Wait, despite being a minority, the Teabaggers expect to get their way on everything, every time? That is the definition of Elitist.
cleek
so, they are trying to shove their opinions… down other peoples’… throats ?

So this is when the inmates take over…

Bah, Bill E. Pilgrim beat me to it :)

The last thing he and his family need is pressure from us, and we apologize for any stress we may have added to their lives. If he wins, we’ll begin pouring shit down his shirt next week.

@Comrade Darkness:
Really? I thought that was the definition of ‘bipartisanship’?
BR
OT: mistermix, not sure if you’ve seen this bill, but it’s up your alley, and is a worrying thing they might have -bipartisan- corporatist support to push through during the lame duck session:

That is all.

@jwb: Look on the bright side. We know we’re not living in a zombie film, because brains are certainly the last thing that this monster infestation is seeking.

California close election results, fyis
What’s odd – I thought congressional districts were supposed to be about the same population – but CA-11 has almost 3x votes cast than the other close district CA-20 230,000 vs 82,000.
(and two CA districts with no Dem running – that’s just sad, sad.)

Wow. I’ve long thought, sort of along the lines of Ann Coulter (different issue, different degree, similar principle), that it would take conservative wackos having the shit they do done to them to make them realize how fucked up it is.
You know, like publishing people’s personal phone numbers, which Michelle Malkin was a big fan of, until it seemed to happen to her.
But I had basically given up on the idea of that kind of karmic comeuppance, since there’s a much smaller appetite for it on the left… except that now, thanks to morons on the right, they’re doing it to each other. So, I guess, thanks are in order.

@cleek:
I believe that is “cram” or “ram” down the throat, not “shove”. Must use approved faux news / Rush lingo to show your conservative bona fides, dontcha know!
