Come for the politics, stay for the snark.

They are not red states to be hated; they are voter suppression states to be fixed.

It’s easy to sit in safety and prescribe what other people should be doing.

The republican ‘Pastor’ of the House is an odious authoritarian little creep.

Hey Washington Post, “Democracy Dies in Darkness” was supposed to be a warning, not a mission statement.

I’d hate to be the candidate who lost to this guy.

Seems like a complicated subject, have you tried yelling at it?

When we show up, we win.

We will not go back.

Putin must be throwing ketchup at the walls.

Narcissists are always shocked to discover other people have agency.

Jack be nimble, jack be quick, hurry up and indict this prick.

Sadly, there is no cure for stupid.

Speaker Mike Johnson is a vile traitor to the House and the Constitution.

“woke” is the new caravan.

Not loving this new fraud based economy.

I’d like to think you all would remain faithful to me if i ever tried to have some of you killed.

Too often we confuse noise with substance. too often we confuse setbacks with defeat.

Hi god, it’s us. Thanks a heap, you’re having a great week and it’s only Thursday!

Republicans want to make it harder to vote and easier for them to cheat.

Barney Frank mocks the GOP (video included!):

“We are boasting about debating the whole government. Did my colleagues listen to the [unanimous consent]? You’ll get to debate whole aspects of the goverment tomorrow for 10 minutes. We are the model of democracy. The next thing you know they’ll be rioting in parts of the world so they can have 10 minutes … to debate fundamental issues,” he said.

Tennessee is facing a similar action, the legislature wants to deny teachers the right to collectively bargain. There’s a rally in Nashville to support teachers on March 5 from noon to 3.

In other news, a conservative blogger went to Madison and recorded these pictures of left-wing “hate speech.” It’s kinda funny. Makes you wonder …. apparently “don’t f— with Wisconsin” is hate speech.

Poor dears. The comments are pretty funny too … seems even the bloggers’ readers don’t see anything wrong with the signs.

of all the gin joints in all the towns in all the world…

i was sitting in keefer’s, a chicago steakhouse, with a bunch of friends celebrating my wife’s birthday last night, and who should sit down at the table next to us?

andrew breitbart! fresh from madison. he was greeted by the serious young conservatives at that table as a conquering hero.

we had a good time anyway.

I remember when you self-proclaimed geniuses thought that someone supporting a cause that works against their own interests was a sign of mental illness or gross stupidity.

As you swell in support of failshit public employees striking against YOU (and The Children!) so you’ll pay money you don’t have for their corruptly-bargained benefits… well, how’s that irony taste?

“Don’t cling so hard to your possessions”?? Billy Bragg should be shot for what he did to the Internationale. Granted, the English version of the Internationale is a little dated, but the American version is solid. No need for this moralistic trash! :-)

@Bender: When you idiots succeed in getting government pay restricted to only minimum wage, not only will our govt not function, but the private sector will be more than happy to lower the rest of our wages since there will be that much less competition for labor. So yeah, paying a tiny bit extra in taxes is well worth it, dunce.
