This just made my night.
Well, my parents are here, so that made my night, but seeing this was awse:
That’s a message I’d never delete.

Oh, and here I thought the second clip was going to be about Eric Cantor.
Tres cute.

Did you see fascist Obama trying to grab the phone away from that kid before he was done talking? That’s exactly how he’s trying to snatch all of our freedoms and guns.
Xenos
Whatever happened to the WPR kerfuffle? Kucinich et al. v. Obama was apparently filed… anyone with an active Pacer account what to check out whether they ever bothered serving the complaint from DCDC Case 1:11-cv-01096-RBW on the White House?
Aside from the House Resolution that they are ticked off, is that it? How can this case be anything but a political question when the plaintiffs have perfectly appropriate powers to make the Libyan war illegal?
amk
@ Xenos – What wpr ? What kerfuffle ? That’s so last week. This week’s poutrage dejour is afghanistan and how Obama is gonna become their king.

He’s got time to soothe babies but he has no time to soothe the gay and lesbian community?
boss bitch
Oh I love these Nazi-like propaganda films.
Cat Lady
He’s spending my tax money indoctrinating freeloading children who should be picking vegetables in Georgia.
alwhite
Ah, kids? In case you didn’t notice Congress will be voting on the WPR thing, probably today if they can manage to drag their lazy asses to work 5 whole days in a row.
It will be interesting to see who votes where & how it will be portrayed as a loss for the Administration.
Jack
Movement (bouncing, swaying, etc) is a great way to sooth a crying baby. Mrs. Obama was standing still while Mr. Obama went straight to the bounce as soon as that baby was in his arms.

LMAO
I love that look he gives Michelle in the second video.
BAD ASS!
(Too bad I’m really getting tired of his policies, blah blah blah…)
Shinobi
He’s so adorable with these kids, but it’s so very stereotypical politician kissing babies.
But whenever I feel like our president is letting me down I just close my eyes and picture a world where McCain/Palin got elected.
daveNYC
Not a fan at the moment. He showed up near work yesterday and they shut down my regular lunchtime halal cart.
moonbat
daveNYC: That’s not like him. I thought he was all about imposing sharia law in the US through tasty food!
Seriously, the baby thing is priceless. Stereotype or no.
Woodrow/asim Jarvis Hill
There was a family with a new kid in New Hampshire during the primaries, who undertook the *ahem* scientific experiment of seeing how their kid reacted to the various Presidential contenders from both parties.
OK, they really just did the creepy bit of wanting to get their new kid photographed with as many of the candidates as possible. I bring it up because Obama is described as showing the same kind of baby synergy then as he does in that second clip. It’s kind of awesome. :)
shortstop
Yep — they’d break that stereotype. McCain would set the baby down somewhere and forget about it, while Palin would turn around and hand it to her own seven- or eight-year-old kid, who’d spend the rest of the press conference teetering and swaying dangerously with her too-heavy load while Palin blathered on obliviously.

Thanks for linking that!

Regarding the second video…perhaps Obama should try that with the Congress?
Xenos
Wait, wait, new scandal… releasing the Strategic Petroleum Reserve is just a cynical gimmick… even though there have been reports for weeks that as much as 30% of the price of oil is puffed up from speculation. If so, some fingers got burned quite nicely today, and this could help to moderate prices for weeks going ahead.
And as for those rumours that the Koch brothers, with much inside info, were behind most of that speculation… I can dream, can’t I?
ABL
the smug look he gives michelle is what makes it, stereotype or no.
