Come for the politics, stay for the snark.

You are so fucked. Still, I wish you the best of luck.

When tyranny becomes law, rebellion becomes duty. ~Thomas Jefferson

I did not have this on my fuck 2025 bingo card.

Jesus watching the most hateful people claiming to be his followers

Nothing says ‘pro-life’ like letting children go hungry.

We still have time to mess this up!

Trumpflation is an intolerable hardship for every American, and it’s Trump’s fault.

You know it’s bad when the Project 2025 people have to create training videos on “How To Be Normal”.

Speaking of republicans, is there a way for a political party to declare intellectual bankruptcy?

Trump should be leading, not lying.

Insiders who complain to politico: please report to the white house office of shut the fuck up.

I might just take the rest of the day off and do even more nothing than usual.

Republicans: slavery is when you own me. freedom is when I own you.

Books are my comfort food!

Every decision we make has lots of baggage with it, known or unknown.

Let’s bury these fuckers at the polls 2 years from now.

If you tweet it in all caps, that makes it true!

If senate republicans had any shame, they’d die of it.

“The defense has a certain level of trust in defendant that the government does not.”

Let’s not be the monsters we hate.

A snarling mass of vitriolic jackals

She burned that motherfucker down, and I am so here for it. Thank you, Caroline Kennedy.

Stamping your little feets and demanding that they see how important you are? Not working anymore.

A democracy can’t function when people can’t distinguish facts from lies.

To celebrate the 4th, we took Max on a long hike near Deep Creek lake in Maryland. Needless to say he held up like a champ.

Want a four-legged companion to help train for your next ultramarathon? Check back in a little while.

Playing L.A. Noire, what a silly game. It looks great and it starts off seeming like it will be fun, but the gameplay is terrible. Some silly Law & Order game I played five years ago did a much better job in the investigation and interrogation parts. Here, your idiot character will out of the blue accuse some bystander of triple homicide when you pick the doubt option.

And man have I wanted to kill all of my partners. Now I understand why Columbo worked alone.

    First I was like…. but then I lol’d.

My cat is trying to hide from the neighbor’s fireworks tonight. It didn’t help that she got underfoot when I came home from the store and I managed to step on her three times before I got my footing (thankfully she didn’t get hurt). Poor kitty.

@ SiubhanDuinne @ 10:21. Hey! I read you bought an Ipad. been hinting around I want one for my birthday…what should I look for? I’ve never used a Mac so I have no clue. A client told me I wouldn’t want one “because you can’t do documents”, ie, can’t work on it. Sounds like a good recommendation haha.

Max is gorgeous and the photos of Max are gorgeous. Amazing.

in max’ defense, all you do is walk along the path, he follows every smell, every lead, always on the lookout for bears and whatever else. he walks three miles for every one you walk, and he hasn’t seen you sniff out a possible unfriendly, not even once.

Happy dog is happy. Cats have their charms, but they don’t let you know how they feel like a dog roll in the grass does. I can smell the grass from here.

I can definitely tell when my cats are happy. One of my torbys (torbies? sp?) rolls on her back to get her tummy rubbed (never had a cat do that before). The other chirps and bounds up to me to get her butt scratched. It’s pretty obvious when they are pissed off as well…

Does Max bring water along in a squirt bottle?

My previous dogs learned quickly how to drink from one, as has my current dog Lucy. It’s terrific because even on what to hoomins seems like a mild day can be dehydrating for an active dog, and they can have a quick drink or a long drink, without the hassle of carrying a bottle of water and a bowl.

Plus, also, too, since the dog is having water at intervals during the walk, he/she doesn’t come home really thirsty, drink up a lot of water (which can be hard on their stomachs on a hot day) and then have to go out again to pee instead of taking a long nap.

Does Max bring water along in a squirt bottle?

Usually we bring one. This time we hiked up and down a mountain creek so Max found plenty of water using nothing but his natural wild animal instincts.

Love it. I planned to hold on to the E-P1 until I die or it does, but the E-P3 has seriously damaged my resolve. Delicious, luxurious instantaneous autofocus…yum… If its image quality is even marginally better I would have to tie myself to a mast, Odysseus-like, to stop myself from trading up.

The E-PL3 “might could be” the camera that drags me into µ4/3, as it seems to have the best feature set of the three new bodies. I’ve seen E-P3 demo videos that show fast auto-focusing with standard 4/3 lenses, which is key for me as I have a ton of them. Up to now, focus on µ4/3–not so fast.

Also, too: the new 12/2.0. Want.
