Come for the politics, stay for the snark.

Why did Dr. Oz lose? well, according to the exit polls, it’s because Fetterman won.

Come for the politics, stay for the snark.

T R E 4 5 O N

Pessimism assures that nothing of any importance will change.

Republicans are radicals, not conservatives.

I really should read my own blog.

Republicans seem to think life begins at the candlelight dinner the night before.

After roe, women are no longer free.

They traffic in fear. it is their only currency. if we are fearful, they are winning.

If senate republicans had any shame, they’d die of it.

Eh, that’s media spin. biden’s health is fine and he’s doing a good job.

When do we start airlifting the women and children out of Texas?

Not all heroes wear capes.

Conservatism: there are some people the law protects but does not bind and others who the law binds but does not protect.

🎶 Those boots were made for mockin’ 🎵

I like you, you’re my kind of trouble.

Usually wrong but never in doubt

I’d try pessimism, but it probably wouldn’t work.

The cruelty is the point; the law be damned.

And we’re all out of bubblegum.

Presidents are not kings, and Plaintiff is not President.

A snarling mass of vitriolic jackals

You cannot shame the shameless.

Is it irresponsible to speculate? It is irresponsible not to.

I can’t stop watching. It’s like eating marshmallow while bathing in fairy floss inside a sugar house that David Lynch built inside John Waters brain.

h/t Paul Ryan’s Dirty Sockpuppet

ETA: With script by William Gibson. Does anyone know if this girl is even real?

EATA: I offer this for our electronica minded bretheren, to counteract the sugar.

EOATA: Crikey.

It’s like…every single j-pop/anime trope stuffed into one video. And pretty remarkable considering how fat-phobic the Japanese are for females.

Bugger. Now I have to watch it!

And still no post from General Doom Cole. I guess because this is too cup half full of a development. As soon as the rebels start cutting off peoples heads or whatev’s I am sure he will be on here saying “see, this is what happens when you mess with other countries”.

I guess he needs Greenwald to start the thought process. Come hell or high water Cole will find a way to make this into a cup half empty moment. Because war is bad….so don’t do it..just because. Signed…..General Cole.

Did you go up the Needle yet? Or ride a duck?

I might as well post a couple more reasonable Japanese bands.

Here’s Flow. They’re tight with a hard pop sense. If you like this song, also check out their song Remember.

The Uluful’s had a huge hit 15 or so years ago with Banzai.

It lets me enjoy empty candy-coated pop from time to time without getting distracted by what’s certain to be rather horrid lyrics.

On a more serious note about Japanese music, School Food Punishment is some of the most brain-pissingly beautiful music I’ve ever heard.
