Come for the politics, stay for the snark.

“Until such time as the world ends, we will act as though it intends to spin on.”

… pundit janitors mopping up after the gop

Wow, I can’t imagine what it was like to comment in morse code.

The desire to stay informed is directly at odds with the need to not be constantly enraged.

I’d hate to be the candidate who lost to this guy.

Fuck these fucking interesting times.

Sitting here in limbo waiting for the dice to roll

“When somebody takes the time to draw up a playbook, they’re gonna use it.”

We’re watching the self-immolation of the leading world power on a level unprecedented in human history.

The unpunished coup was a training exercise.

Stop using mental illness to avoid talking about armed white supremacy.

We are builders in a constant struggle with destroyers. keep building.

Too often we hand the biggest microphones to the cynics and the critics who delight in declaring failure.

Giving in to doom is how we fail to fight for ourselves & one another.

“A king is only a king if we bow down.” – Rev. William Barber

No Kings: Americans standing in the way of bad history saying “Oh, Fuck No!”

Usually wrong but never in doubt

Democracy cannot function without a free press.

They are not red states to be hated; they are voter suppression states to be fixed.

Their freedom requires your slavery.

Something needs to be done about our bogus SCOTUS.

We still have time to mess this up!

Lick the third rail, it tastes like chocolate!

When you’re in more danger from the IDF than from Russian shelling, that’s really bad.

Experts agree that the most important habit of effective people is to start off the week with the right attitude.

Goofball

#2: when you have a task, do it right or stay home.

Missing the forest for the ball

Believe it or not, somewhere in that mess he’s holding a ball.

***Update***

Even though this thread is awesomer, I re-timestamped it to un-step on John’s more informative post.

Went to work today largely because there is electricity there, which means coffee and Internet access. Absolutely no idea how long the power will be out at home. But otherwise no significant damage.

@Punchy: The “kids”, now in their twenties, actually got a lawyer to file the case, take it to court and then to appellate court. I hope he or she gets run over by the next ambulance they chase.

Last week we bought a little squeaky toy in the shape of a hedgehog and gave it directly to the youngest of the four dogs, Beauregard (golden retriever). “Heggie” is now HIS and he becomes extremely protective if one of the other three dares go near it.

Always up for a Max photo. Doggy prozac.

Am seeing more brown Dobermans now that I’m thinking of Max and looking for them.

Bulldogs and pugs too, after a “Beautiful Bulldog” contest earlier this year.

    They be everywhere.
