Come for the politics, stay for the snark.

‘Museums aren’t America’s attic for its racist shit.’

The most dangerous place for a black man in America is in a white man’s imagination.

Polls are now a reliable indicator of what corporate Republicans want us to think.

I’m more Christian than these people and I’m an atheist.

The new republican ‘Pastor’ of the House is an odious authoritarian little creep.

We cannot abandon the truth and remain a free nation.

Teach a man to fish, and he’ll sit in a boat all day drinking beer.

Let’s show the world that autocracy can be defeated.

Optimism opens the door to great things.

There is one struggling party in US right now, and it’s not the Democrats.

When we show up, we win.

“woke” is the new caravan.

I’d hate to be the candidate who lost to this guy.

The rest of the comments were smacking Boebert like she was a piñata.

You’re just a puppy masquerading as an old coot.

Our job is not to persuade republicans but to defeat them.

Today’s gop: why go just far enough when too far is right there?

We need to vote them all out and restore sane Democratic government.

Boeing: repeatedly making the case for high speed rail.

I conferred with the team and they all agree – still not tired of winning!

Too often we confuse noise with substance. too often we confuse setbacks with defeat.

Every reporter and pundit should have to declare if they ever vacationed with a billionaire.

Speaker Mike Johnson is a vile traitor to the House and the Constitution.

After dobbs, women are no longer free.

Someone at CNN just wasted hundreds of words to state that Rick Perry called the NH primaries the NH caucuses by mistake.

Of all the things Rick Perry gets wrong, this is the one they focus on?

Maybe if they spent a little more time asking Rick Perry if they were going to execute ANOTHER innocent man , and a little less time worrying about who misspoke themselves, I might take these knuckleheads seriously. Jesus! WTF is wrong with these people?

Creating ‘the narrative’ is long hard tedious work. That’s journalism. And anyway, keeping a list of his gaffes is more objective than trying to explain and evaluate his policy positions. That’s journalism too.

Clearly, the uppity Cole, one of the lesser people if ever there was one, does not know his place.

Perhaps he should apologize for this post. I find it’s implicit sarcasm uncivil.

Otherwise, John G. Cole. you are grounded Mister!

Edit: Oh, wait. Cole has already more or less grounded himself, from what info he reveals. I’ll think of something else.

    Release the Tunch!

CNN has a special “Sock Patrol” that has the sole purpose of daily checking whether Perry’s socks match.

I considered feeling sorry for Perry, and then decided not to. He’s a dope– CNN is, collectively a dope (a multidope?)– And yes, we’re doomed.

    Why?

Last night, some local-news drone talked about Perry’s voting-age screwup from yesterday, and said that they’d called Perry’s campaign for a comment, but hadn’t gotten a response. It actually made me have sympathy for Perry campaign staff! (Grrr…) “Hi, I’m calling from a penny-ante local station doing a story about how your candidate was a dumbass today, and there’s nothing you can say that will help. Would you like to respond?”

Well, in his defense, Texas has a caucus, their system is known as the Texas Two step. Maybe he thought all states worked that way.

@MattF: When a woman I know who is pretty conservative in her views asked me today what they have to do to get such stupid governors in TX, I realized that he is truly doomed. I feel a bit sorry for him since he doesn’t seem to know what he doesn’t know (So to speak) and is now a running joke. Honestly, the caucus/primary/whatever thing isn’t even nitpicking, it’s maybe like picking nit molecules.

Todays adp employments numbers and pending house sales are making GOPers cry. Boehner will be crying in his scotch and having a few extra smokes tonight.

If Obama’s slip of 57 states can be made news for days, then turnabout is fair play. Of course, Perry no longer seems to matter, so this is much ado about nothing.

Meanwhile, Michele Bachmann told a crowd in Iowa today that if she were president, “we wouldn’t have an American embassy in Iran.”

    Yup, still unparodyable.

The MSM are run by idiots. It’s a sad state of affairs when a High School Newspaper can frame a scenerio more accurately than our ‘esteemed village elders’.

Just so much fail lately it’s mind boggling.

And don’t get me started that the overlords are doing it on purpose to elect who they want (they are but I’m not going to say so publicly).

[EVENTHELIBERAL MARGARET] CARLSON: You can actually disprove some of what Bush is saying if you really get in the weeds and get out your calculator or you look at his record in Texas. But it’s really easy, and it’s fun, to disprove Gore.

What’s much more interesting is Romney’s meltdown on Fixxed News. He’s in full panic mode, saying actual video tape of him promoting health insurance mandates is false and accusing Fox of carrying water for the Democrats. Heh!

It was quite clear on “Oops” Night that the Republican establishment had decided Perry was unacceptable as the nominee, and they’ve had the nuclear weapons out for him ever since. Had they wanted Perry as their candidate, GOP spokesfolk would have wrestled one another to get to microphones and tell humorous stories about times THEY went blank. (They sure as hell would have done it had Bush done anything similar in 2000) The media is of course happy to do their bidding.

The Rove crowd still fears Perry is just a bit viable, because of his money, so they’ll continue to stomp him until he can’t possibly recover. The joke, of course, is that none of this is helping their boy Romney, and the latest Perry — old Newt — might be alot harder to destroy.

It’s not exactly hot news that Rick Perry is stupid. I found this rather more interesting: Stephen King, clearly ticked off that Chunky Bobo has casually given away the ending of King’s new novel, rips CB’s shallow understanding of Lee Harvey Oswald and what drove him to kill JFK.

Gaffes are easier and more fun than what actually ails a candidate’s policy statements… So Perry is a dope because he mis-speaks not because his policies are nuts?

@Amir Khalid: I don’t know, how do you spell carpe diem? I always know what a waste of space someone has between their ears when they got nothing other than to become a spelling nazi. Like they are the only people in the world who know how to spell or at least faking it by using google.

I have several other variations of it waiting in the wings as well. So might as well get that out of the way for all the other losers, spelling nazi’s, and pie people keeping score.

Other than that, thanks for the motivational speech my little furry groupie.
