I just saw a preview of the Pets of Balloon Juice 2012 calendar, and I think you all are going to love it!

Comrade Mary
I have no pets to share in the calendar. I live vicariously through other people’s pets.
Post a picture of Tunch, please, and I’ll buy a calendar, and we’ll all be happy.
Yutsano
My screen just shut off. That’s how much I have to do at work right now. I’ve already fallen asleep twice. Awesome. It won’t last.
joeyess
Oh, by all means Cole, don’t bother to show us or anything.
piratedan
geez, what a pet tease!
Yutsano
Please folks. Did we get a picture of His Almighty Lordship’s stare of doom? Didn’t think so.

The calico sisters are sitting next to my chair crying for MOAR TREETS!
must…resist…

@Yutsano:
This makes me recall a classic Peanuts cartoon, with Snoopy pretending to be a vulture while sitting on his doghouse…
…though, to give “credit” where credit is due, we’re going to need a much bigger doghouse in this circumstance.
Edit: Oh, shit, it was a tree:

We’d snap that fucker like a toothpick.

For Bieber’s sake, please give them a photo of the feline so we can get back to complaining about the GOP.

The Mrs. and I could use bit of help this Christmas. Any assistance would be mightily appreciated.

Can any Balloon Juicers recommend a good teapot? I need to get a new one.
My cats and dogs are currently crowding me off the sofa. They are doing the casual stretch/creep where I don’t realize what they are up to until I find myself on the floor.
Comrade Dread
So is it wrong for me to hope for a Ron Paul win in Iowa and the sweet, sweet chaos it would cause in the MSM and the GOP establishment?

The little one is keeping up her favorite game of bringing her ball into the man cave, watching it bounce under the desk, and crying until I get down on my knees to dig it out for her.
Life is good. Annoying, but good.

Just musing here, for no other reason than I can.
I have noticed (couple of months now) how the world has let Sarah Palin’s 15 minutes of fame elapse. She seriously has, rightfully and thankfully, fallen off the face of the Earth. Happy times indeed.
That said, if she was a smart grifter, she’d be dropping noises right about now about getting into the R primary race. She can point to the rise and fall of all the previous front runners, the unelectability of them all and “relectantly” enter the race to save the R field.
It would make the clown show complete.
As much as I am happy she is gone, she is missing a golden grifter opportunity and a chance to make the R primary process even more a freakshow than it is now.

Well, post that link, yo! I wanna see me some CUTE!
I want to get a couple for Christmas gifts…. Will there be time?

The Mrs. Just put our dog on a time out, as he was being especially obnoxious. We have discovered that a half hour or so in the service porch calms him right down.

Went to Trader Joe’s for a few groceries and some $3 shitty wine, and found Pink Himalayan salt in a grinder for $1.99… Of course, I had to buy it…

@pattonbt: Palin was last seen pitching a reality show about her husband’s snow sporting ways to Discovery, or whatever channel did her first reality show.

I’m really kinda hopin’ that my kitty Guido will get included this year, even though he is no longer among the living…..kinda like my spousal unit. I never got a return/acknowledgement email.
I was never able to send that particular photo before because of my technical limitations ….finally got it scanned and sent to me. Ay Guido, me falta mucho….I miss you, little dude.
P.S. This year I will even buy a calendar…pinkie swear.

@Joseph Nobles:
Disappointing. I was looking forward to crossing over and voting for Palin in MI’s open GOP primary. They need all the crazy they can get, and she brings it.

@jurassicpork: I’ll do what I can, but I need to wait for payday.
Cain
dammit, is there still time to send pet pictures?

Hezbollah is the proxy for Iran. I would love to take what’s most valuable from
these asshole murderers of 241 US servicemen, including 220 Marines.
Sempr Fi ! Still waiting for the payback…….
“At the same time, the investigation that led the United States to the bank, the Lebanese Canadian Bank, provides new insights into the murky sources of Hezbollah’s money. While law enforcement agencies around the world have long believed that Hezbollah is a passive beneficiary of contributions from loyalists abroad involved in drug trafficking and a grab bag of other criminal enterprises, intelligence from several countries points to the direct involvement of high-level Hezbollah officials in the South American cocaine trade.
One agent involved in the investigation compared Hezbollah to the Mafia, saying, “They operate like the Gambinos on steroids.”
On Tuesday, federal prosecutors in Virginia announced the indictment of the man at the center of the Lebanese Canadian Bank case, charging that he had trafficked drugs and laundered money not only for Colombian cartels, but also for the murderous Mexican gang Los Zetas.
The revelations about Hezbollah and the Lebanese Canadian Bank reflect the changing political and military dynamics of Lebanon and the Middle East. American intelligence analysts believe that for years Hezbollah received as much as $200 million annually from its primary patron, Iran, along with additional aid from Syria. But that support has diminished, the analysts say, as Iran’s economy buckles under international sanctions over its nuclear program and Syria’s government battles rising popular unrest.
