   Wow..i remember listening to The Wall and hearing ‘Good-bye Blue Sky’ while watching the late 2010 returns come in. it was weird because it was sickeningly fitting..

   hi John, i hope you’ve got the whole 7 years of TWW, that shit got me through the Bush-years. i alternate between being a fanboy for Richard Shiff or Allison Janney (did you catch her in ‘The Help’?).

   Schiff as Toby Ziegler in the 1st-season Christmas episode ‘In Excelsis Deo’ captured my heart. that ep was some of the best TV evah.

   I work until 11pm and when I do have my two dogs (shared custody with ex-girlfriend) they give me the longing stares at 3am–Papa, when are we gonna go to bed?

   Here I am, awake at 1 am (my time) and the night crew all went to bed. I guess I probably should, too.

   This song always cheers me up, though I’m terrible at deciphering lyrics, so don’t tell me if it’s actually about murder or something.

    Point of info: Some of the “death” masks in the Oh Death video are actually life masks (Beethoven’s, for example — his death mask looks markedly different), which were often made in the 18th and early 19th centuries, until photography pretty much did away with the custom.

    Also, Voltaire’s death mask looks suspiciously like a character from Outer Limits.
