Come for the politics, stay for the snark.

I’d hate to be the candidate who lost to this guy.

Let there be snark.

“But what about the lurkers?”

Optimism opens the door to great things.

Some judge needs to shut this circus down soon.

Impressively dumb. Congratulations.

I did not have telepathic declassification on my 2022 bingo card.

fuckem (in honor of the late great efgoldman)

Too often we confuse noise with substance. too often we confuse setbacks with defeat.

Battle won, war still ongoing.

The truth is, these are not very bright guys, and things got out of hand.

I’ve spoken to my cat about this, but it doesn’t seem to do any good.

Come for the politics, stay for the snark.

I really should read my own blog.

You don’t get to peddle hatred on saturday and offer condolences on sunday.

No one could have predicted…

Only Democrats have agency, apparently.

The worst democrat is better than the best republican.

“Everybody’s entitled to be an idiot.”

Second rate reporter says what?

Prediction: the GOP will rethink its strategy of boycotting future committees.

Teach a man to fish, and he’ll sit in a boat all day drinking beer.

But frankly mr. cole, I’ll be happier when you get back to telling us to go fuck ourselves.

SNL Tackles the Birth Control Shenanigans with “Really!?” and Dana Loesch Stupidly Responds

In case you missed it.

Outstanding:

Ridiculous: Dana Loesch over at “Big Journalism” had her merry band of idiots fact-check Amy Poehler’s comment that “there are too many people” and attempts to disprove the statement by linking to studies demonstrating that birth and fertility rates have declined (as if Amy Poehler was making some sort of political statement about birth rates.)

Really?!

That’s like me saying “There are too many snakes on this motherfuckin’ plane!” and Dana Loesch directing her merry band of idiots to publish a study demonstrating that overall, the number of snakes on motherfuckin’ planes is decreasing, and then demanding to know what I have against airborne snakes.

Come on, y’all. You can’t be this stupid.

Oh wait, yes you can:

Really.

I remember around a decade ago when it was announced that there were now 6 billion people on the planet. Just this year it was revealed that there are now 7 billion. Loesch is a moron, and I have no clue what “government will out-populate the population” means?! There will be more federal employees than non-federal employees?! Oh and fuck Loesch for jumping on Amy Poehler’s role of becoming a mother.

That’s always baffling to idiot, winger, pro-lifers; when they find out that people that are pro-choice actually have fucking children. As if they are like “OMFG, You got preggers and didn’t kill your baby?! You must be pro-life! No? This is so cornfusin’!”

Well, we’ve well exceeded the carrying capacity of the planet. We are able to exceed it due to the cheap availability of fossil fuels, but with those running out (not to mention the availability of fresh water), we actually DO need to reduce the population of the planet to avoid wide-spread famine and possibly societal collapse in many countries. Per capita food production throughout the world has been shrinking for a while, so we’re all going to be a lot skinnier.

Or maybe Amy meant to say “we have too many extremely evil people like Andrew Breitbart.”

Obviously Poehler is right and Loesch is dumber than oak but we shouldn’t let that distract us from the real issue: SNL has been nigh unwatchable for the past few seasons. Last week’s episode was noteworthy in that it didn’t justify terrorists’ hatred of America through its awfulness.

Swap John Mulaney for Seth Meyers at the Update desk, get Keenan out of there completely, stop writing stupid Wiig sketches. At the very least.

I’ve read it from multiple persons in the comments sections at PJMedia. Don’t know if any of their front-pagers actually said it, but sure as hell no one ever disagreed.

If you transfer it overseas, to Europe, it becomes even more blatant. The “Eurabia” meme (Europe is about to become a caliphate because all their hajjis are breeding like rabbits and all their whiteys are aborting their children) is pretty commonly accepted throughout the entire base.

It’s telling that they sent out a bunch of the SNL cast members to various talk shows last fall to talk up the new season. Ratings must be down.

I liked the show last Saturday, but it reminded me how good it was when they had so many good female comedians on it, like Amy, Maya, and Tina.

The Repubs love to hate mandates by government, even declaring them unconstitutional, yet the Virginia GOP is passing a bill that mandates that, like it or not, women WILL have something shoved up their hoohaw if they choose to have an abortion. No exceptions, for any reason. No choice. It seems that Repubs across the country are applauding their Texas-style treatment of women as second-class citizens whose bodies they and the religious right get to control. Now they are physicians without training and passing a law that mandates an unnecessary medical procedure, solely to harass women when they least need harassment. I would say it’s progress that the GOP is embracing mandates but I think they seriously got their wires crossed on this one.

I hope they get knocked out by the shock this fall. If women (and good men) don’t punish them this fall then they only have themselves to blame for the resulting disaster of total GOP dominion over their bodies.

Any woman who votes Republican at this point is fucking insane. Full stop.

I’ve been hearing the “white families can’t have children cause they cants afford it, but n*gg*rs have 10 kids on welfare” bullshit since Gary Hart was a viable candidate for President.

and Obama’s election is just proof that for the last 50 years, Democrats have been only for the blacks.

Discrediting a writer by summarizing his or her argument sarcastically or in a way that emphasizes its flaws.

People don’t usually hear the “shorter” since it’s meant to be a sarcastic summation. I was responding that I’d actually heard the “shorter” almost word for word.

Gotta love the concern about birth rates in Italy being “…so low that in one generation, the vision of the big happy Italian family eating around the table will be extinct.”.

Quite apart from the apparent longing for a vision of other countries as derived from movies, you really have to wonder if these idiots have ever been to some of the places they like to write about.

If the US had the same population density as Italy today, it would have a population of 1.8 Billion. Have these people any clue what that looks like? Do they realize what the impacts are of that level of competition for land and other natural resources? Some Americans really, really, have no clue just how fortunate they are to have what they have, and are mysteriously hell bent on throwing it away…

    It’s quadratic stupidity.

To the extent that birth rates are declining in the relatively rich countries of the world, one would assume it’s because of relatively easy access to…contraceptives.

So not only is it absurd on its face to fact-check a satire like this, but she fails miserably by actually reinforcing their point.

Your example is too generous. You have the actual population of snakes decreasing, where Ms. Loesch’s “observation” is that there can’t be too many people because the rate of population GROWTH has slowed.
