Balloon Juice

Come for the politics, stay for the snark.

Accountability, motherfuckers.

I’d like to think you all would remain faithful to me if i ever tried to have some of you killed.

Our job is not to persuade republicans but to defeat them.

They’re not red states to be hated; they are voter suppression states to be fixed.

Shallow, uninformed, and lacking identity

Wow, I can’t imagine what it was like to comment in morse code.

Nancy smash is sick of your bullshit.

🎶 Those boots were made for mockin’ 🎵

Roe isn’t about choice, it’s about freedom.

A thin legal pretext to veneer over their personal religious and political desires

“Everybody’s entitled to be an idiot.”

American History and Black History Cannot Be Separated

JFC, are there no editors left at that goddamn rag?

This fight is for everything.

The revolution will be supervised.

Happy indictment week to all who celebrate!

Come on, man.

“Can i answer the question? No you can not!”

Wow, you are pre-disappointed. How surprising.

Technically true, but collectively nonsense

Let’s finish the job.

When do the post office & the dmv weigh in on the wuhan virus?

Whoever he was, that guy was nuts.

Sadly, there is no cure for stupid.

Drop everything and watch Luther on BBC America. Idris Elba, who starred in The Wire, is the main character and it’s the most awesome police drama.
    http://www.bbcamerica.com/luther/

Like so many of the BBC shows, tLuther has irregular season lengths. the firat one was like a series, but the second season had only four episodes, so it was more of a miniseries.

Highly recommend, and on pins and needles until the third series starts.

Had a decent time at the games yesterday. #4 Duluth completely shut down #1 Wisconsin. The score was 2-1 but the game was not that close. WI had only a couple of good scoring chances & looked frustrated all afternoon long.

In the nightcap #2 Minnesota dominated #3 North Dakota 6-0. ND has a couple of good lines but they never had a chance to put anything together even on the power play.

Tonight it will be MN v UMD for the championship.

House of Lies is a lot of fun. For a bit of fluff with Cheadle and Brendan Gleeson, I recommend The Guard. Not great but enjoyable IMO, and the ending makes it ripe for a sequel.
