I try not to nutpick too much, but this (via Gex) is just too fucking funny:

The game is to see how many comments in a foxnews.com article that has nothing to do with President Obama do you need to read before somebody says something bad about President Obama. I call it “how many comments in a foxnews.com article that has nothing to do with President Obama do you need to read before somebody says something bad about President Obama”.

Not one article goes past 22 comments before they start bashing Obama. The best part is the names they make for Obama, such as “Oinkbama”.

This, from WND via reader C is pretty awesome too:

After Hawaii, Obama spent 13 not-so-swinging single years on the mainland before he married Michelle in 1992. In “Dreams,” Obama mentions only one girlfriend from that period, a woman who looks and lived suspiciously like Bill Ayers’ old flame, Diana Oughton.

Obama biographer Christopher Andersen tried to confirm this woman’s identity but made little headway. “No one,” he writes, “including his roommate and closest friend at the time, Siddiqi, knew of this mysterious lover’s existence.”

Word to the AP: If you want to write a story about a sexually confused individual, you don’t have to go to Indonesia to find one.

The hatred the 27 percenters have for Obama is unreal. But, hey, onetime an anonymous commenter at Daily Kos compared Bush to Hitler, so it’s all the same.

I heard Diana Oughton is the illegitimate daughter of Saul Alinsky and Emma Goldman.

(I played this game last week at a certain liberal blog. It was a state issue, I forget the state and issue, but it was Obama’s fault. Took about twenty comments).

In other news, the Romney campaign said Obama should release all documents relating to his meetings with world leaders. Are they even trying at this point?

As an aside, it was the Obama campaign asking Willard to release his taxes going back to the 80’s that set Rombot’s campaign off. I’d bet the farm the Obama campaign has some dirt on Willard’s taxes. They don’t make such a specific question without knowing the answer.

Heh. Pretty funny. Although going by my own memory of the Naughties-era blogistan, it didn’t take much encouragement for lefties to start ranting on GWB. Yeah, I know, “Both sides do it,” and the passage cited above about Obama’s trists wingnuts obviously take the derangement another level. But there’s a lot of tribal thinking in politics so this kind of phenomenon doesn’t surprise me.

Diana Oughton came from the same small town my mom is from. She blew herself to smithereens when Barack was an 8 year old living in Indonesia. For obvious reasons (we knew some of her relatives), my sister and I followed the case with morbid curiosity. I’m 2 years older than the president. I really wish the Bill Ayers thing would go away. It’s just plain stupid. There is no way a young politician would have known Ayers’ past from 20 years earlier.

Until I Googled this, I had no idea just how special this was. I was going to point out that Ayres is 16 years older than Obama and has been with his current partner since at least when Obama was 11 years old, so the idea that he hooked Obama up with his former flame when Obama was in his 20s and a bit over half her age would seem unlikely.
    __
But then I discovered something else that happened before Obama turned ten: Diana Oughton died. In fact, she died in a failed Weatherman bomb plot. Given that Oughton had been dead for a decade by the time under discussion, I shudder to think what about the description of Obama’s girlfriend caused the winger to think she “looks and lived suspiciously like .. Diana Oughton”?

Just like in 1865 the only way to deal with them is to torch them, beat them so bad that it will take them generations to recover. I also think the Obama camp want to have a foreign policy debate with Willard.

    @Stella Barbone:

She blew herself to smithereens when Barack was an 8 year old living in Indonesia.

To understand this, you have to understand that they think that Bill Ayers wrote “Dreams of My Father”. So, given that Obama is clearly gay or something, Ayers had to paste in his own girlfriend where the story needed a girlfriend for Obama.

Makes perfect sense. If you live in a paranoid fantasy-world.

@Warren Terra: Yes, that there is some finely constructed wingnuttery. All one has to do is conjure up a name that few will bother to look up, craft the sentence just so, and let your darling little fake scandal toddle off into the world.

Five years from now, it’ll be coming back to you in email from your Uncle Chauncey.

Are they trying to mask their racism with these crazy conspiracies?

    “Mask”? How about demonstrate?

Wait a minnit. I’ve been told by my white male conservative overlords that no sex till marriage is demanded. Now they call it sexual confusion. At least they are moving in the right direction?

@Shari: The NRA and police groups have been at odds over gun laws for some time now. I think the NRA wants to send a warning shot.

@The Dangerman: IIRC Don Rumsfeld sat on the Board of Directors of LORAL Corporation during this whole period also.LORAL was one of the major contractors involved.

Read Little Green Footballs for all the racist ugly comments made against Blacks in general on rightwing blogs, such as Fox Nation and Breitbart.com. What’s shocking is that there appears to be no censoring of explicitly racist comments by rightwing bloggers. I guess that’s their base.

@prufrock: Nah, Doktor Ley, the lush of the Danish doggerel.

I’ve always thought Ashcroft was infinity plus one more Hitler-like than Bush. He really gave term 1 that fascist feel.

Cheney was a Himmler (just a family man!), Rove the Julius Streicher, Ailes the Goebbels, and I don’t know who Rummy would be but I’m sure there are plenty of Prussian candidates. As for Goering, you’re looking for fat, self-satisfied hangers-on… maybe Jonah Goldberg would qualify, although he, technically, didn’t get anywhere close to anything.

I don’t see Bush as a Nazi. Just his benighted self.
