    I gave last week and a good thing I did. Just paid out $600 for my state inspection, emissions inspection, an oil change, and an exhaust system that does not allow you to replace only the bad part, but requires replacing the entire thing, front to back.

    Fuck, I hate having to have a car.

    it reminds me of how Hillary’s PR people kept trying to dismiss Obama’s large delegate lead in during the primaries, saying Obama was only winning small states.

    its goofy shit aimed at winning over the out-of-touch Village elite (ie “he’s winning, but not our people”). The problem is the Village doesn’t have any electoral votes.

    Okay, I donated. Thanks for the reminder. Money has been tight for the first part of the year and I’ve not been able to donate. Good to finally get started.

    Suggestion: Can we have a thread where people post deserving down-ticket candidates that we can support in a similar fashion? I think the Citizens United money is going to be really hard on Congressional and local candidates and some of them might be in tight races and could use a bump. A small donation can really help a local candidate.
