Delusional Lunatic Ted Nugent to Attend State of the Union Address

The GOP is out of its goddamn mind:

Outspoken rocker Ted Nugent will attend President Obama’s State of the Union Address Tuesday in order to take on the media and “counter the scams and lies of the left,” he explained to talk radio host Mike Broomhead Monday.

“We know that the president will have the state of the union stacked and jammed with props, children, and victims of violent crime, ” Nugent said. “And my friends wanted me to attend to counter that the way that I do: with facts, statistics and common sense and logic and a celebration of self-evident truths. So I will be taking on the media orgy following the State of the Union Address.”

Nugent said the media does not realize he is a “force to be reckoned with” and therefore he will “dominate them.”

Nugent added that he would be outspoken after the event but “remain respectful to the office of the presidency and the event itself.”

Democrats have invited residents of the Newtown tragedy to attend the State of Union address. The GOP has invited noted misogynist asshole Ted Nugent — who runs around telling everyone to suck on his machine gun, who has made veiled threats against President Obama’s life and called him “a piece of shit,” and who called Hillary Clinton “worthless bitch” — to attend the State of the Union address:

Renegade right-winger Ted Nugent recently went on a vicious onstage rant in which he threatened the lives of Democratic presidential candidates Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. Decked out in full-on camouflage hunting gear, Nugent wielded two machine guns while raging, “Obama, he’s a piece of shit. I told him to suck on my machine gun. Hey Hillary,” he continued. “You might want to ride one of these into the sunset, you worthless bitch.” Nugent summed up his eloquent speech by screaming “freedom!”

Who wants to talk about both sides do it?

Ted had to go right-wing. He has a long track record of fucking young teenage girls, it started catching up with him, and it turns out taking the right turn has been a pretty good way to get the heat off.

He’s an opportunist, not an ideologue.

My secret hope is that Ted Nugent is stupid enough to bring firearms into DC and get his sorry ass arrested. It’ll be a win-win – he fulfills his prophecy of being in jail within a year after Obama is reelected, and no one has to hear from that hateful nutbag piece of shit ever again.

It’s kind of a shame that people don’t vote for presidential candidates based on the coolness of their musical supporters. Democrats would win by a landslide every time. And I’m not just saying that because Beyonce is jaw-droppingly gorgeous.

    Nugent:

“I was in Chicago last week. I was in Chicago, I said, ‘Hey Obama, you might want to suck on one of these you punk’. You don’t get that, Obama, he’s a piece of shit, and I told him to suck on my machine-gun. Let’s hear it for ‘em.”

“And then I was in New York. I said, ‘Hey Hillary, you might want to ride one of these into the sunset, you worthless bitch.’”

“I was just out in California. How about Barbara Boxer. She might want to suck on my machine-gun. Hey Diane Feinestein, ride one of these you worthless whore.”

There is a significant segment of the Republican Party that only belongs because the “I got mine, so fuck you” ethos of the modern GOP gives them political and philosophical cover for being completely sociopathic dickheads. These are the people who chortle about how Rand Paul “schooled” Hillary Clinton at the Benghazi hearings and who think it’s ALL KINDS OF AWESOME that he’s delivering the rebuttal to the rebuttal after the SOTU. What they don’t realize is that HRC came out of that with a 61 percent favorability rating, making her the most popular politician in America today, and Paul’s down around 39.

They’re so excited at the prospect that Nugent will yell something at the POTUS that they’re about ready to soil their Depends.

Then again I grew up wondering how the hell bands like Europe and Poison had any sort of following. The answer there seems that tastes vary greatly and apparently having none whatsoever doesn’t stop you from making enough money to support crap music.

Ashbury Dukes, I’ll give him a pass, but his solo stuff is tepid at best technically; and outright offensive hate filled, bitter, Rambo-chest thumping dreck more often than not. That said, Ted’s probably pulling down a hell of a lot more scratch now than pretty much any of his contemporaries, and it ain’t because of his killer cologne business.

I was in the market for a new watch, and I really like Luminox watches – then I went to their Facebook page, and there was a pic of the owner with Nugent.

I’m buying a Traser watch now.

@Gin & Tonic: It’s legal as long as the dealer is licensed to sell Class III weapons and the buyer has to pay a very steep Class III stamp, maintain the paperwork for life, subject to random audits, etc.

Grifters got to grift. From Ted and Congressman Nutjob Stockman from Texas, this is all win-win. It means bigger speaker fees and more hits on their web sites as they “fund raise” to defend “FREEEEEEEEEEEEDOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMM” from the Kenyan Usurper and the “Lib-tards.” As David Frum has accurately described it, the “Conservative Entertainment Complex” now runs the movement and the Republican Party, and winning elections is somewhat besides the point for these people.

In sense, both we and the MSM are being “trolled” by these people. From Obama and Nancy Pelosi’s point of view Ted Nugent and all his baggage is a perfect spokesman for the Republican Party as Ted does what he thinks will help him get his “reality” show on TLC or Discovery next to “Honey Boo-boo.”

    @AxelFoley:

Never understood how some of these headbangers from the 80s turned out to be rightwing scum.

My high school was full of them. Simple, really. They idolize guns, have contempt for women (and learning), and hate the browns.

This evening’s GOP “response” ought to be worthy of the Globe or National fucking Enquirer. Complete with Graham’s histrionics, McConnell transforming into an actual tortoise, and the Nuge being arrested by one of DC’s 17 police forces for public lewdness.

Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

Anyone like to bet the Republicans show up with “Obamasequester” signs or buttons? The only question is whether their buffoonery rises to junior high school level.

Nugent said the media does not realize he is a “force to be reckoned with” and therefore he will “dominate them.”

Great stunt, Nuge. You just assured that no one is going to pay any attention to Marco Rubio or Rand Paul.

I’m sure the GOP is going to be very pleased with that.

Yep, this is really going to help with the RNC’s outreach efforts. A guy who is an open racist and all-around awful human being being your spokesperson. Good job Republicans.

    Let’s review:
    -Noted racist
    -Declared Bankruptcy a few times
-Openly threatened the lives of elected politicians
-Refused to serve in Vietnam and pretended to act mentally ill and crapped his parents when brought in front of the draft board
-Has cheated on his wife and has several illegitimate children (a couple of the women even had to bring him to court to make sure he paid his child support)
-Is a pedophile who has a penchant for underage girls

I welcome Ted Nugent as RNC spokesman – get all of this out there and let Republicans embrace his douchebaggery and be humiliated in more elections.

Back in the ’60s I liked the Amboy Dukes OK but then I liked Iron Butterfly too so…
Enyways, at some point I saw a magazine spread about Nugent and his hunting fetish. Now I have nothing against hunting per se but the dude was decked out in a skimpy leather vest, all kindsa raw hide straps, shorts of some strange loincloth sort and holding a crossbow. At that point I knew the man had some real issues.
No doubt there’s a lot of hype in it all but if he want’s to get attention he could just eat dog shit and bite the heads off of chickens for the cameras and that would get him talked about too.
Nobody seems to lose money by being a raving rightwing loone.

@PsiFighter37: I hope that if Ted does anything stupid enough to get him arrested, they let him out one day before the deadline of when he said he’d be dead or in jail. Leave him standing on the front steps with only one option left.

No way he allows himself to be interviewed by anyone other than a media hack, FOX News, or a right-wing talk show host. Someone with actual chops would ask him about why he had to be dragged into court a few years ago because he was behind on his child support; someone with actual chops would ask him about his self-professed love for chasing underage girls around.

@Villago Delenda Est: Shrub was a draft dodger too. Seems like they’re all chicken hawks except when it comes to sending other people’s children into unnecessary wars.

Had to laugh when I heard that Cheney called Hagel and Kerry “second rate”, as if he is in any place to call anything second rate.
