Because they hide the pictures at work it just says “Max sun.” Totally different thing.

I’m just punchy with exhaustion. My Great Dane, who came to us last Easter, is apparently terrified of snow. She barked at it all night as it fell off the branches onto the roof.
Then at dawn I had to carry the 12 pound dog out into the yard and drop him in it over his head, to get him past the dreaded Edge of Concrete.
Then once he tried out romping in the snow he forgot to eliminate which was my primary purpose in wading out there in my PJs and my kid’s muck boots.
Big goldfish but wouldn’t make a respectable koi. I wonder whether Tahoe gets warm enough for them to breed? Guess we’ll find out (always seems freakishly cold to me).
@Trollhattan: The avg. water temp in tahoe only varies about a degree over the course of a year because the lake is so deep. It’s a gigantic cone of water. 2nd larges mtn. lake in the world behind Lake Titicaca. 2nd deepest lake in the US and 10th deepest in the world.
ETA: near the surface it can vary more–around 10 degrees or so. Below the surface layer, it remains constant over the course of the year.
A puppy in a sun puddle. Max must be about 3 months old here and already spoiled…love it.

Isn’t it amazing how much room so-called “small” animals can take up on a bed? My two cats are expert at arranging themselves on the bed so that the household humans can’t get into it.

@Poopyman: It will indeed be an exciting time. I plan to be dead.
(I guess if that article is correct, pretty much everybody should make similar plans.)

I doubt there’s anything more wonderful than a sleeping, snoring, cuddly dog.
Life is kind of simple when you really think about it.

Adorable pic there. He must have still been a puppy.

Just look at those pancake puppeh paws. Unlike the Bogg’s bassets, Max grew into his.

Perfect antidote for such a hissy day on the bloggity blog.

Thought about putting this link below, since it appears that in the intermediate run all of that will make no difference in the end. Of course, this is just science, so it’s not real.
Just another happy data point in our existence here.
