Hello there! I have things to say:

My blog (Angry Black Lady Chronicles) merged with This Week in Blackness this past Monday (along with Jack & Jill Politics) and can now be found here. I’m Editor-at-Large, along with Baratunde Thurston and Cheryl Conti of JJP. Elon James White is Managing Director with Dacia Mitchell serving as Managing Editor. (More on that here and here.)

In addition, I’ll be the new host of TWiB in the Morning with L. Joy Williams, starting this coming Monday. So, if you enjoy black stuff, as I know you do, then come hang out at TWiBNation. Sign up for TWiBNet. Put some stank on it.

I don’t know how much I’ll be posting over here, frankly. It’s not that I don’t love you people (racistly), but I just don’t know how much time I’m going to have. I started my full-time position at RH Reality Check this past Monday (huzzah!) and I will be waking up at 5 am Monday -Thursday to host AMTWiB, at least until I come to my goddamn senses and move to the east coast. So, if you were wondering (as I’m so sure you were), that’s what’s going on with me.

What’s going on with you? Oh right, I don’t care.

I kid! Of course I care! Sort of.

But seriously — come hang out at TWiB sometime. It’s pretty fun over there. And listen to the many TWiB podcasts. There’s a whole lotta blackness going on, but I’m fairly certain you can handle it. I believe in you.

Oh, and I was interviewed by Jaclyn Friedman for the Fucking While Feminist podcast, if you care to take a listen. We talked about Kermit Gosnell, white babies, birth control, and sexual agency. Good times, all in all.

    I am glad you are happy doing what you are doing. You could always have your show three hours later, and that would save you having to move out there.

    Congrats on all your endeavors, ABL. But as someone who gets to work at 5:30 am, I say “join the club”. Hope we hear from you from time to time. At least, you can plan to attend the Democratic Convention with Cole again in 2016. That was fun.

    @Mnemosyne: Thank you anyway. I will check out the rescue group. I am moving end of next month and that is my absolute deadline to find them a home. I break into tears every time I think about having to give them back to the Humane Society.
