Commentor Ruemara is going to be in Los Angeles this weekend. So the locals are holding a meet-up in her honor, at the Story Tavern in Burbank, 6:30pm PST, on Saturday 2/15.

Confirmed (as of last night) were frequent commentors Mnemosyne, Roger Moore, and Ruckus; several others (Jebadiah, Something Fabulous, Narcissus87) have said they’re hoping to join the party.

Look for the green balloons (Roger said he’d bring some) and don’t be afraid to bring a friend!

    I called them up and had them reserve one of the side booths for us starting at 6:30 pm as “Roger.” (I didn’t feel like trying to spell either my nym or my real name over the phone.) Roger is bringing the green balloons, so I think it’s a go!

    Last I heard, it was Ruckus, who’s in the general direction of North Hollywood (Roger and I are both to the east of Burbank). But I also let her know which Metro bus will take her from NoHo to a half block away from the Tavern in case that falls through.

    They have both been designated as not serial killers, I believe, so at least we don’t have to watch that episode!

    This is dumb beyond all recognition. If republicans wanted the bill read, they could get that by making a motion, or objecting to one made by dems. unless I’m missing something in the details.

    Wish I could have gone but Hubby Dearest and I already had a belated Valentine dinner reso elsewhere. I can’t hear anything in restaurants anyway but I wish all the attendees a fun evening!
