USC-Stanford is a tough game. Lots of tough yardage. Stanford needs to put some distance between themselves and the Trojans, though.
On Aug 7 YouGov had No at 61% and Yes at 39%. So the drop has been swift.

I don’t think she’d go to FSU, but if she does, I will never, ever, ever wear garnet and gold. Nope. Never.
The University of Washington played Eastern Washington, and the two offenses spent the game methodically marching up and down the field. The UW finally won 59-52. The EW quarterback is by all accounts a guy to watch.
Don’t know if he played American football, so he may not count here, but…per the Daily Mail, DNA analysis has identified Jack the Ripper as Aaron Kosminski, a Polish-born hairdresser. I’m a U-M alum and a fan since, well, I was born. And even as a loyal fan, I can’t defend this team. They’re terrible. They may still have a decent record because the Big Ten is awful, and in that case Hoke will keep his job. An absolute joke.

My Cougs have already lost their bowl chances with 2 laid eggs in a row, the Huskies only just survived against Hawaii and Eastern Washington, Arizona almost lost to UTSA, UCLA does not look like a great team right now, and Colorado just barely beat UMass.
I may be stating the obvious here, but Big Ten football is in long-term, perhaps irreversible decline. They’ll have a team that has a great season and can run with the truly elite teams every ten years or so, but that’s about it.
91.
Comrade Nimrod Humperdink
@Linnaeus: Kinda seems that way doesn’t it? Then again the Great Lakes states are seeing some population decline aren’t they? That might be part of the problem.
