Foxbot Andrea “Punch an Obama Supporter in the Face” “Torture? America Is Awesome!” Tantaros continues to build her resume. At least one of you commentors were joking about this, but here’s TPM‘s report…

… Tantaros and her “Outnumbered” co-host Lisa Kennedy Montgomery discussed Clinton’s stop at a Chipotle outside of Toledo, Ohio where Clinton reportedly wasn’t recognized.

Tantaros said that Twitter users said Clinton, alongside campaign advisor Huma Abedin, appeared to be “hungover.” Tantaros dubbed the meal stop “the incognito burrito” before Montgomery chimed in with her analysis.

“It’s just so real,” Montgomery said. “She’s like ‘Listen, I want some food of the people, but I don’t want it to be icky. I don’t want it to be too — ethnic. Is there some middle ground we can find?’ And Huma went, ‘Yeah, let’s go to Chipotle. Gotta eat off this hangover.’ Yeah, I think what that says is the first lady is quite ordinary looking in person.”

Tantaros then did an impression of Bill Clinton before giving her analysis of Hillary Clinton’s restaurant choice.

“Was it maybe — Hispanic outreach?” Tantaros said. “She heard Rubio was announcing, so she thought let’s go to a Chipote (sic) and get some pico de gallo.”…

If Clinton announced she’d discovered a cure for cancer, Tantaros — and the Repubs she’s paid to promote — would headline it HILLARY SINGLE-HANDEDLY DESTROYS THOUSANDS OF MEDICAL RESEACH JOBS.

    co-host Lisa Kennedy Montgomery

Good lord. This one’s been trying to be the young rock’n’roll Republican for at least twenty years, I recall she was once prominent enough that the fading Murphy Brown series had a character based on her. She’s almost as old as I am, fercrissake

So Hillary is both afraid to be too ethnic and pandering to Hispanics by going to Chipotle, and hungover, and too much like a regular person. Is it possible Gutfield has been dragging their average IQ up?

“She heard Rubio was announcing, so she thought let’s go to a Chipote (sic) and get some pico de gallo.” I think that’s an insightful point. Hillary Clinton not being noticed at Chipotle is bigger news than Rubio announcing he’s running for President. How much time did these fools spend talking about Clinton’s “hangover” compared to Marco Rubio (or any of the others)?

    They just can’t help themselves.

This is just the tiniest, ittiest, most minuscule, eeny-teeny-weeniest, most insignificant, meaningless, nothingburger of a Hillary Thing. They are going to pile on her with everything from her hairstyle du jour to something she said or did 20-odd years ago when she was FLOTUS. Not forgetting the evergreen BENGHAZI!!11!

I am among those who was more than disappointed in HRC’s 2008 campaign, and would like to see a real challenge to her this time around from the left, in the belief that it would be good for the party and the country, and would make her a better candidate. But this kind of crap just turns me into a fanatical knee-jerk Hillbot, and I shudder to think of 18 months of it.

Tantaros said that Twitter users said

It’s hard to top the native stupidity of a Fox News host, but a Fox News host quoting random people on Twitter would appear to have managed that feat.

Also, claiming that a stop at Chipotle is pandering to the Latino demographic is every bit as stupid as claiming that ordering out for pizza is a play for the Italian-American voting bloc.

Nielsen TV data through mid-Januray shows that the average age of Fox viewers is 68

Only 1.1 per cent of Fox viewers are black

The average age of viewers of Bill O’Reilly’s show is 71 years old

The average age of viewers of the Colbert Report is 37.

Life expectancy in the US is currently 79.

So lemme get this straight. The sorta-cute MTV VJ who tried playing alterna-chick but was a bit too insincere while introducing the next Nirvana video was actually a Republican. (And apparently via Google now a Libertarian thanks to Kurt Loder.). And is now a Fox News talking bimbot after having failed at whatever the heck she’s been doing all these years.

And they’ve teamed her up with an obnoxious winger bimbot who grew up one town over from me.

And they both make way more money than anybody with an actually productive job.

@Cervantes: “Outnumbered” is a completely blatantly misogynistic show on Fox. The show has four women that are regular hosts and one male host who changes daily or weekly or something. the “Outnumbered” refers to the man who is “outnumbered” by those shrieking harpy women.

I’ve had the misfortune of seeing it once or twice while stuck in a waiting room. The man sits in the middle of the group, who are arranged in a semi-circle. He’s wearing a suit. Two women are on each side of him, and they’re wearing sleeveless tops and short skirts and because it’s a bench seating set, their legs are on full display.

It’s appalling like most Fox shows but this set up and name of the show is particularly galling. Little wonder they’re piling on Hillary. The whole point of the show is to make men feel better about themselves.

I’d imagine that at least 80% of the population won’t pay a bit of attention to what goes in the GOP primaries or with Hillary Clinton for at least another year. The Clinton campaign doesn’t need to waste a it of ammunition responding to these clowns until the field is winnowed down. They just need to strategize how to kneecap the the clown that is discouraged from the GOP shit show in the dozen or so states that will decide the election. While the MSM would like us to think otherwise, we don’t have national presidential elections in this country.

When Romney ran, Obama was able to make sure that the first thing people on the national stage learned about him was that Romney bought up companies and closed them down, destroying all the jobs. Unfortunately, obesity, which has never been a problem in Ecuador, is starting to rear its ugly head with the rise In the availability of processed and fast food, and they are working aggressively to start turning the tide. At one point in the conversation she said she was appalled at the fact that so many Americans were dismissive of Michelle Obama’s campaign against childhood obesity. According to Cecily – “you’d have to be an asshole racist to want your children to be unhealthy just to spite Michelle”

Of course people are just stupid about food and health. When Jamie Oliver first did his show in the UK where they went into schools and improved school lunches, it was the parents who were the biggest problem. Parents were sneaking in chips (french fries) for the kids. No one was going to deny their kids deep fried potatoes at lunch!

No. Gives some senators an opportunity to strut and flex is about the crux of it. As it is not a treaty vote (which would need 2/3 of the Senate voting against, which ain’t a-gonna happen), even if a bill rejecting it should pass both houses by a simple majority, Obama can veto it and then we’re back to needing 2/3 of the Senate again to override, which still ain’t a-gonna happen.

@Matt McIrvin: So long as the people of the United States- in particular, the rank and file of the democratic party- refuse to acknowledge that the Bush-Cheney War was borne of a conspiracy to wage war, we indeed will condemn the nation to a bad end.

Any politician that claims the Iraq War was a consequence of good people being misled by faulty intelligence is a liar. Any political party willing to support such a politician has cut itself adrift from the laws of cause and effect.

And the Times article did mention a veto hatch Obama apparently deems sufficient, if I understood it, that is. I sure credit the president for the attempt. I don’t doubt that Kerry especially seeks a righteous treaty, too, for his country, the planet, and to atone himself for having supported the criminals who successfully plotted and launched the 2003 Iraq War.

Oh Jesus Fucking Christ – you’re one of those “war to steal oil” idiots, aren’t you?

Texas oilboys like chaos in markets and price instability – they like the holdings they have because their rakeoff occurs in the financial sector in the middle, without investment in pesky infrastructure. Feckless, idiotic, reckless government that does nothing correctly is their friend, because the commodity markets get chaotic – and Bush-Cheney-Rumsfeld-Wolfiwitz-Feith-Bolton fit that bill perfectly. They’re just not smart, grab some conclusion and then ignore facts in pursuit of that conclusion.

With conservatives, follow the stupidity and laudatory self-congratulation. They’re like Kucinich/Nader supporters, just fatter and with more Jesus.

@Matt McIrvin: the stakes of these negotiations aren’t nearly so high. If they fail, we aren’t going to be at war with Iran or any closer to it than we were before. Iran with a bomb or without a bomb is hardly annexing half of Poland, so even if Iran were the one to pull out of negotiations, I don’t see the war threat that others do.

@Matt McIrvin: The unanimous vote of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee Tuesday in support of an amended bill authorizing a congressional review of any agreement with Iran over its nuclear program doesn’t mean conflict between the White House and foes of such an agreement has ended. Assuming the bill passes the full Senate and the House of Representatives, it’s only a truce likely to end once the parameters of the agreement are announced. That is supposed to happen by June 30.

But while the domestic fight over any deal with Iran is not over, this was a clear White House victory.

Really, we Dems and Libs just have to realize we are dealing a gang of sociopaths who feel free to kiss decency and human virtue to the curb because they are advancing the great cause of “Conservatism,” which basically means in America that all the money needs to go to them that has it already while white, male, heterosexual men get to tell everyone else how to live and what their place in society is (which is under the thumbs of those who have). Whoever the Democrats run for President is going to get the same treatment whether Obama, Clinton, or Warren (look at the campaign Scott Brown and the Conservatives ran against her in the Senate race in 2012 and whether biggest scandal in the world is whether Warren checked the box on being a “Native American” when she trying to get on the academic tenure track in the 1980s). It is who they are, r’tf’ckers, and who they will always be. We just have to deal with it.
