Balloon Juice

Come for the politics, stay for the snark.

We’ll be taking my thoughts and prayers to the ballot box.

Republicans got rid of McCarthy. Democrats chose not to save him.

Republicans seem to think life begins at the candlelight dinner the night before.

Fuck these fucking interesting times.

The willow is too close to the house.

Fuck the extremist election deniers. What’s money for if not for keeping them out of office?

If senate republicans had any shame, they’d die of it.

…and a burning sense of injustice to juice the soul.

An almost top 10,000 blog!

Meanwhile over at truth Social, the former president is busy confessing to crimes.

Come on, man.

When you’re in more danger from the IDF than from Russian shelling, that’s really bad.

A lot of Dems talk about what the media tells them to talk about. Not helpful.

Peak wingnut was a lie.

No one could have predicted…

Everything is totally normal and fine!!!

You don’t get rid of your umbrella while it’s still raining.

Despite his magical powers, I don’t think Trump is thinking this through, to be honest.

Putting aside our relentless self-interest because the moral imperative is crystal clear.

Republican also-rans: four mules fighting over a turnip.

Even though I know this is a bad idea, I’m off to do it anyway!

Teach a man to fish, and he’ll sit in a boat all day drinking beer.

Stamping your little feets and demanding that they see how important you are? Not working anymore.

Thanks to your bullshit, we are now under siege.

Ahh. Jeb said he saw ads for Supergirl and "she looks pretty hot, I'm looking forward to that." Pauses and adds, "That'll make news."

— Sabrina Siddiqui (@SabrinaSiddiqui) October 22, 2015

I’m beginning to believe the theory that John Ellis is deliberately attempting to sabotage his own campaign. Possibly to spite his mother, the Shelob of Kennebunkport.

@SabrinaSiddiqui I should point out that Supergirl is an illegal immigrant.

— EricP (@EricEricItisme) October 22, 2015

@sabrinasiddiqui Dog whistle for Reddit crowd. He's trying to peel off some of the Ron Paul/GamerGate/Anonymous voters from Rand. Probably.

The only question now is whether Jeb? will jack off in the theatre, or wait til he gets home.

Jeb had a reputation for being quite the stoner during his prep school days. Do we know for a fact that ever stopped being a stoner?

    Not surprising.

After all, ¿Jeb? had an affair with Katherine Harris

According to Ron Rosenbaum in the December 4, 2000 edition of The New York Observer, much of the East Coast media establishment, including the Washington Post and the New York Times, is buzzing like crazy over this story, a story which they are not allowed to cover, except in the most oblique and sanitized fashion.

Rosenbaum even points out two paragraphs, one from the NYT and one from the New York Post, as examples of how reporters in both papers are being forced to ‘sanitize’ their references to Harris’ alleged sexual affair with Jeb Bush.

Superman, Superwoman, Supergirl… All these movies are boring as shit. Like Thor, or the Hulk, any character who can’t be hurt is a waste of time. Especially in fight scene where two invincible beings are pounding the snout out of each other – all I can think of is the poor people caught in the line of fire.
