The president of Howard University announced Thursday increased security on campus and nearby metro stations after a racist death threat was posted on an online forum:
“I left MU yesterday because I didn’t want to put up with it anymore,” the commenter wrote. “I go home to MD and what do I see? The same old shit. Turn on the news and it’s always n****rs causing trouble everywhere. So I’ve decided. Any n****rs left at Howard University after 10 tomorrow will be the first to go,” the message continued. “And any of those cheapstake [SIC] n****rs who try to get out using the metro will regret that choice real fast. … After all, it’s not murder if they’re black.”
Yup, just another day in post-racial America.
Team Blackness also discussed a nationwide walkout planned by students calling for free tuition, Obama’s historic cover shot on LGBT magazine Out, and Missy Elliot returns and she’s hot like fire.

There is no such thing as “free tuition.” There is only “tuition paid by somebody else.” If you want to argue that post-secondary education has enough ROI for society at large that it ought to be treated as a public good, feel free–but at least reject this stupid framing.

The obviousness of the ridiculousness of post-racial America…..
yes, keep on pointing it out.

Unfortunate and disturbing but no worse than a college professor calling for “muscle” to forcibly remove an Asian American journalist from a demonstration. Or the never ending black on black crime in america.

On the subject of disturbing, black students at Michigan Tech in Houghton, Michigan (the Upper Peninsula) were under what was called a “credible threat” today.
Tone In DC
I rode an elevator several times (I frequently use it) yesterday. During these trips, the looks on some of the non-black faces ran the gamut from mild apprehension to fairly deep fear. I was carrying an old turntable at one point; obviously a black man with a record player is extremely dangerous in the eyes of some folks.
Thanks again for pointing out the ignorance and fear out here, Elon. It’s not uplifting, but at least I know where I stand.

Tone- they weren’t fearful of you it was what u were carrying. Probably looked like a bomb.

Obviously, the real problem is rampant political correctness on America’s college campuses.
