They traffic in fear. it is their only currency. if we are fearful, they are winning.

A lot of Dems talk about what the media tells them to talk about. Not helpful.

GOP baffled that ‘we don’t care if you die’ is not a winning slogan.

One of our two political parties is a cult whose leader admires Vladimir Putin.

Too often we confuse noise with substance. too often we confuse setbacks with defeat.

Damn right I heard that as a threat.

If you are in line to indict donald trump, stay in line.

Possible Seattle Meet-Up, Next Weekend?

So I will be in Seattle from January 28th through February 1st. So far I’m pretty sure the only time I have plans will be Thursday night, Friday morning, and Monday morning. Any possibility of a meet-up if no one is busy? Pretty flexible on time and location…

From previous reports, Seattleites certainly know how to throw a great meet-up!

    Hell yes! I’m available that weekend. If people don’t mind coming out to the north end, there’s a new-ish spot in Thornton Place called The Watershed that’s a lot of fun.

    @CaseyL: @BAtFFP: @Dollared: I’m staying right next to the Needle, so a hop onto the 5 or the 99 is doable! I will (most likely) have plans Thursday night (only night a close friend gets off work) so let me do some checking on this place.

    EDIT: Looking at the brunch menu. And drooling!

    I can’t do Sunday — it’s our Great Big Giveaway day when (please, FSM) all our neighbors stop by to take away all the stuff we don’t want/can’t fit into our new apt.

    Also, I happen to know the family that runs the Watershed (good lib folks!) so if you decide to go there I’ll let them know. They’ll be thrilled to hear who you are and why you picked them.
