If you want to see an unmitigated disaster, check out the WV Secretary of States’s election results website. Hell, the whole page is a clusterfuck.
The results are in some cases 15 hours behind WV Metro News. I can’t imagine why WV is having trouble luring tech industries here.
They ought to remove the 2016 copyright and replace it with 1995 Geocities.

The problem doesn’t jump out at me.
The current Secretary of State is a Dem, and is up for reelection according to that page. Maybe she can hire the healthcare.gov fixers.
ETA: The one problem I noticed is that I didn’t get any votes.

I see the Bigfoot tables have turned, Mr. Cole

Did Ojeda win? Or do I have to look it up?
Yes he won! I looked it up. Karma’s a bitch! What a great site!

Say what you will, but I think her best work was with Ten Thousand Maniacs.

@Baud: Obviously the Hillary bots and the Bernie Bros are terrified of facing your awesomeness so they joined forces to erase all of your votes and give them to Tailgunner Ted. The horror of it all
Miss Bianca
seriously? *no* election results “confirmed”?
Robin G.
But what would be the Geocities address?

@Damien:
Et tu, Anne Laurie ?
One minute.
Feel the Bern.

@Robin G.
geocities.com/WhitebreadHollow/0001?
;)

Be fair. That looks like an outdated sharepoint site, and not an outdated geocities site. It needs more blink tag.

Interesting piece by Jedediah Purdy on West Virginia here:
http://www.scalawagmagazine.org/articles/what-west-virginia-is-saying
the Conster, la Citoyenne
@Morzer:
Seems like he uses the word “some” and “others” instead of saying “a lot” of West Virginians are racists. #NotAllWestVirginians.
Bob In Portland
There was some discussion here of neoconservatives versus neoliberals a week or so back.
Robert Parry discusses it.

@the Conster, la Citoyenne:
Seems like he’s making a reasonable case to me. Maybe you could tell me more about your reasons for disagreeing with him?

Arithmetic is hard, especially when it involves two-digit numbers.

“Do you want to trust the website “www.sos.wv.gov” to use the “SharePoint Browser Plug-in” plug-in?”
And using Flash-wannabe MS “Silverlight” for alleged functionality?
The whole site reeks of Microsoft. What do you expect?

LOL. I’m late to read this thread, and when I went to the West Virginia secretary of state’s site just now the results are still incomplete! I guess they said fuck it after everybody’s interest quickly waned.

On May 3, Virginia held some local elections. Results were up on the commonwealth’s website an hour after polls closed. Easily accessible. It’s possible.
