A thousand pardons for the late start. I am teaching out of town and had a pist queued up to go when the internet went down. I ran to my hotel and just got here.
And if you’d suggested two weeks ago that Ramsey would make a hypothetical All-Tournament team …
One wonders if he can do the same things for the Arse. Or whether Wenger will turn him loose the way Coleman has.
And speaking of Coleman, his name is likely to come up every time a BPL manager gets canned.

Nice run by the Welsh, but all good things come to an end. Not really surprising to see Portugal come out of their half of the bracket, most of the other elite teams being on the other side.

Well, this is what I love about soccer. I assumed Belgium but was wrong; thought Wales would win but was wrong – that was more heart than head anyway (and I knew that Ramsey’s gifted ball placement skills may well have been the key difference in the game), and probably another heart over head selection of Iceland over France. As if. Great tournament so far, and I hope tomorrow’s is as good as it might be. You just never know, any given day…

Haven’t seen Wales play so far, not looking bad (but I am a novice)
Onkel Fritze
Ugh. Welsh secessionists vs. the most destructive football of the tournament. I guess I’m rooting for injuries.
Otmar
Neither of these teams has any chance against Germany or France.
Booring game so far.
SRW1
Well, at least Ronaldo had three stepovers.

I believe in Dragons! Plus it would be awesome to the utmost to watch Cristiano Ronaldo cry after losing to a cinderall story.
Won’t matter, the other semis may as well be the finals.
Onkel Fritze
Crap just got crappier.
Miss Kitka's Comrade Wayne
Eu! Mas não muito. E só pelo carisma do Cristiano.
Otmar
I put the kids to bed and it is 2:0 when I return. Meh.
Randinho
@Miss Kitka’s Comrade Wayne: Eu não! De jeito nem um.
Randinho
Wales is really missing Aaron Ramsey.
Onkel Fritze
The Portugese gameplan of not winning a game in regular time lies in ruins.

And Wales learns what Belgium learned, playing without your top players is rather difficult. Great run by the Dragonmen.
