Why is it so hard for them to condemn hate?

I have other things to bitch about but those will have to wait.

They don’t have outfits that big. nor codpieces that small.

They are not red states to be hated; they are voter suppression states to be fixed.

So fucking stupid, and still doing a tremendous amount of damage.

Too often we confuse noise with substance. too often we confuse setbacks with defeat.

Museums are not America’s attic for its racist shit.

Putting aside our relentless self-interest because the moral imperative is crystal clear.

We still have time to mess this up!

I’d hate to be the candidate who lost to this guy.

The arc of the moral universe does not bend itself. it is up to us to bend it.

The real work of an opposition party is to hold the people in power accountable.

Polls are now a reliable indicator of what corporate Republicans want us to think.

When you’re a Republican, they let you do it.

    @schrodinger’s cat: Long story short: My boss decided he didn’t want the kitties in the store anymore and tried to give them away to some friends of his. I pitched a tiny little fit when I heard about it and told him that if they were going to go off-premises, I wanted them to go somewhere that *I* was going to see them – so after his friends failed to come get them, I said, “I’m taking them, mmmm-kay?” and brought them up to the hunt club kennels. Now they wrassle around a 40-acre spread filled with horses, dogs, and chickens, and like to ride on the ranch hands’ shoulders.

    We miss them terribly at the store – and the mice have, surprise surprise, started snacking on the candy and the bird seed and all that stuff, but OH NO, *some* people didn’t want *cats* sround – but they’re happy and growing like weeds and napping in the hay and going nose to nose with all the horses on the place. I just saw them today, in fact, and got a big old kitty hug from Pancho!
