    By the way, it appears all youtube videos load twice: the video image appears, then vanishes, then loads again and stays. It’s been doing that for a looooong time.

    @Alain the site fixer: I see all four. But the real question is can you make this work with the embed code for a news life feed. Whether from C-Span or CNN or NBC or a local news affiliate. That’s my real issue.

    @Adam L Silverman: I know. I’m, seeing weird behavior so I’m trying to suss out where/what. Not to seem snippy – I have an innate software tester nature and so when I see something not work right, I need to keep testing and playing with it.

    Anyway, I just updated the site’s files. Now I’ll add in our customizations.

    I am on my Windows 7 and now cannot see post numbers (Firefox, Opera).

    The five videos show fine.

    All five are showing in chrome.

    In case it’s helpful: in safari where I have 3 extensions blocking stuff, two are prevented from display. #1 (Biko, at the top) and # 4 (Bow Down) are blocked, while the rest show.

    You can click the nym of the person being replied to (in the reply) and it will take you to the original comment. Then (when the back button is working right), you can use the back button to come back to the reply. You can use this method to go through whole chains of comments and replies.

    BTW, note to Alain: there should be a thin horizontal line between front page posts, I think. Something to mark where one ends and the next one begins…

    In Reeder (a Mac RSS reader), I only see the Housemartins. In Chrome on the Mac I see 5 videos.
