Is the press really free & objective? Or is it associated w/ a political party? If so, that's a violation of what the Founders intended-BO'R

I was a good boy tonight and reined in my urge to destroy. Came out of the store after work and the car next to mine had a giant assed placard on the rear deck – “Stop the sale of baby organs. Defund Planned Parenthood”. The urge to smash windows/slash tires was overwhelming. I’d have even settled for screaming obscenities at the owner, because my angry face was in full effect. I hate living in deepest, reddest Wheezeconsin some days.

@Shana: Back in Nov 2015, the Boston Globe ran a story about Michael Dukakis and how he liked to turn leftover Thanksgiving turkeys into soup, and the story ended with him saying that if people had leftover carcasses, he’d take them. When we dropped treats she comes running sniffs and then runs to the food table. And waits. In 8 years she never learned to eat food somewhere else even when she begged. She also seems to sometimes dimly remember that as a kitten one bedroom was hers even though it’s been my nephews for 7 years. She is afraid of the active boy and runs out alarmed. @Baud:
I didn’t pay any attention to her Russia warnings. I’ve been listening to Hillary Clinton so long it was like “oh, she has some foreign policy/threat concern again” :)
I assumed she was RIGHT, it just seemed remote and complicated. Little did I know she meant “Putin’s puppet” in the bluntest and most immediate way possible.
Baud
@Kay: I’ll never get over that she had to share a stage with that man three times for the debates.

@Baud: and how much is Trump fucking up and R’s being afraid to take him on. If I were on twitter my postyourunpopularopinion hashtag would be “George W Bush had more to do with 2006 than Howard Dean”

@Kay:
You are giving them credit here that they may have said something truthful more that 2 yrs ago. I’d bet the odds of that are about ten times worse than the odds of me winning the powerball. And I don’t play the lottery.
Baud
@Jim, Foolish Literalist: I agree. It was a long time ago, but I don’t even remember Howard Dean’s presence around that time.

Kay,

@SiubhanDuinne:
Maybe you could fix that? Don’t mention the many years of Canadian employment!
But, seriously, you seem like a great congresswoman to me. Witty, smart, widely experienced! Quick with a quip in reply, too.
Baud
@J R in WV: I would move to Georgia just to vote for SD.

Think what it’s like for every one of us to wake up every morning and know that Donald John Trump is the President of the United States.
Then imagine what it must be like for Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton….

As deepest, darkest, racist, Islamophobic, sexist, etc RWNJ flying monkey mouth breathers, they live in Delusia. They wouldn’t know trufax if you wrapped them around a crowbar and slammed it upside the concrete blocks they have for heads.

@Kay: Good news! Michael Moore was on Chris Hayes “All In” this evening. He said if Kieth Ellison isn’t elected DNC chair, he’s done with the Dems!
Go team Perez!!
Baud
@SiubhanDuinne: I can’t imagine. I take comfort in the fact that she is tougher than I am be a wide margin.

Yeah, I remember that. Amazing stupidity!! Jesus was (if he ever existed at all!) a sephardic Jewish rabbi, and Santa is an imaginary elf, no telling what colors he comes in! Amazing stupids.

@Steve in the ATL:
I think I saw that Betty Price had declined to run. But it’s a big field.
For my sins, I got to know Tom and Betty fairly well (socially, not intimately by any means) over the years, going back to when he was a state senator. Betty is Canadian, and graduated from McGill University, and as academic relations officer I dealt with alumni from Canadian universities. As long as the context wasn’t political I found them both affable people, but I wouldn’t vote for either of them for any office.

These damn Ohio GOPers saying they’re skipping town halls because only Democrats were the Result? Could a human being be any more craven?

You are sweet.

The historical St. Nicholas was the Bishop of Turkey, so the odds of him having been blond and blue-eyed are … not good.
schrodingers_cat
@Mnemosyne: I have seen Indian people with green eyes or hazel eyes but seldom blue. Brown seems to be the most predominant color, though.

Late to the party, but Bill O.’s knowledge of history seems to be less than you’d expect from a bright 4th grader. Or maybe an average one.
