This doesn’t really surprise me:

Still, Hannity’s version of entertainment can go too far. Last year, after ending one of his many spirited on-air arguments with liberal contributor Juan Williams, Hannity pulled out a gun and pointed it directly at Williams, according to three sources with knowledge of the incident. He even turned on the laser sight, causing a red dot to bob around on Williams’ body. (Hannity was just showing off, the sources said, but the unforeseen off-camera antic clearly disturbed Williams and others on set.)

    In Hannity’s commentary on the incident, he says people are being foolish because he has extensive firearm safety training and was obeying all firearm safety rules. Isn’t one of those rules ‘Never point a gun at someone you don’t intend to shoot’?

    Aren’t there a few more multi-tens-of-millions-of-dollars lawsuits ready to drop on Fox News? Seems like there should be. Maybe Juan should talk to a lawyer about that.

    Shame on the authorities who didn’t pull this dipwad’s gun license privileges, “TV star” or not. Can you imagine someone less aggressively Angry-White-Man Entitled… say, Juan Williams… getting away with an idiot stunt like that?

    Of course, since the President-Asterisk just fulfilled the NRA’s wet dreams by making it easier for people judged incompetent to handle their own Social Security checks to buy a gun, it’s no surprise that Hannity feels empowered to wave his penis substitute around in a thoroughly unsafe fashion!

    Speak out against Hannity for violating what the NRA itself teaches regarding fundamental gun safety rules, irrespective of their otherwise fanatical lunacy about unrestricted rights to own or carry. What Hannity did would get you kicked out of any gun range they are associated with.
