Good Morning All,

This weekday feature is for Balloon Juicers who are on the road, travelling, etc. and wish to share notes, links, pictures, stories, etc. from their escapades. As the US mainland begins the end of the Earth day as we measure it, many of us rise to read about our friends and their transient locales.

So, please, speak up and share some of your adventures, observations, and sights as you explore, no matter where you are. By concentrating travel updates here, it’s easier for all to keep up-to-date on the adventures of our fellow Commentariat. And it makes finding some travel tips or ideas from 6 months ago so much easier to find…

    Very cool.

    I wrote up my trip to the art museum. And Songkran just started, so I need to find a pair of sandals STAT and find a hiding place for my phone. We’re doing a Thai cooking class in the morning. I’m very wet.

    I’ll have some of Canyonlands NP after we ride the White Rim trail there, starting Saturday morning. Now back to packing for camping/biking for 5 people with just one 4WD to carry food, water, and camping gear for 4 days.

    Have a cousin who hiked across the Olympic peninsula many years ago. At the time, that was a thing, as few had done it back then. He miscalculated his ability to make speed and distance, and ran low on food, was shivering hard from cold wet conditions when he made it to civilization.

    So be careful and take plenty of high energy food and first aid supplies!
