    There seems to be this common thread of exposure among Fox News hosts and executives. Some source say the evidence is tiny. Others say the truth is so grotesque that what is seen cannot be unseen.

    The true test is whether they can erect a firm defense, one that will stand up in court. While it would be premature to speculate, the flaccid support they’ve gotten from the new Fox management suggests their defense will deflate, leaving them feeling frustrated at the rapidly diminishing possiblities of release.

    Seriously (only because I can’t think of any really bad puns) that these hideous sleazebags know they can get away with it for months or years.
    But this is the 21st century. A picture or more ALWAYS gets out. Just not soon enough.
    And they also know that like most abuse victims, the ::ahem:: “objects of their affection” won’t say anything for a long time, and no-one wants to be the first. In a place like Faux, careers and large salaries are also on the line.

    @schrodingers_cat: Something else…Downtown LA from above Dodger Stadium. There’s almost a full moon out tonight so the Milky Way won’t be visible. I got a new filter(red intensifier) a week or so ago and could see tiny parts of the Milky Way in a shot of DTLA from above Glendale on a somewhat hazy night.

    I damaged a cornea walking in the woods before dawn with two friends, remote national forest land, early winter. It was intended to be scouting for deer season the next day.

    They helped me walk out of the woods, and as we staggered in near darkness I decided to ask them to drive back to the nearest town. A stick got behind my glasses. Painful, especially walking out, but no real harm done. Hunting trip over before it began.

    Now, 40 years later, I see OK for a guy wearing glasses since first grade.

    Glad you feel better already!

    I confess to using tears to moisten my eyes a couple of times each night. Sometimes during the day, not always tho. Aging is terrible, except for the alternative. gripe, gripe, growl…
