Come for the politics, stay for the snark.

Only Democrats have agency, apparently.

Let’s not be the monsters we hate.

Anyone who bans teaching American history has no right to shape America’s future.

Some judge needs to shut this circus down soon.

Republican obstruction dressed up as bipartisanship. Again.

Republicans are radicals, not conservatives.

“But what about the lurkers?”

Being the leader of the world means to be the leader of peace.

Eh, that’s media spin. biden’s health is fine and he’s doing a good job.

Despite his magical powers, I don’t think Trump is thinking this through, to be honest.

Within six months Twitter will be fully self-driving.

Brazil v Switzerland, 2pm EDT. FIFA liveblog at the Google link.

There aren’t as many Brazilian expats in our MA town as there are in Everett or Framingham, but I’m pretty sure every local eating place with a television will be quite busy… even without factoring in Father’s Day.

Can’t be neutral here, go Switzerland!

Gonna have to play better defense than that, however.

Some fresh publicity for the drumpf-supporting band who played at his inauguration.

ST. MARTIN, Miss. (AP) — One of the founding members of the rock band 3 Doors Down is back in jail after guns and drugs were seen in his Mississippi home.

Jackson County Sheriff Mike Ezell, in a news release, said 46-year-old Todd Harrell, the band’s original bass player, was arrested Friday at his St. Martin home. It’s unknown if he has an attorney.

Authorities say they were responding to an alarm and when they arrived, Harrell’s wife told deputies they argued and it turned physical. While there, deputies saw guns and drugs in the home. The sheriff’s department got a search warrant and Harrell was arrested.

He’s now facing a charge of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and misdemeanor charges of possession of a controlled substance and domestic violence simple assault.

Harrell previously served two years in prison for causing a deadly 2013 crash in Nashville.

Yup. The Swiss are a formidable side. Hell, they’re top 10 in world rankings.

They did respond to Brazil’s pressure, they just haven’t had anything in attack.

Total futbol ignorant question, and nothing to do with the match at hand. Neither Pakistan, India, or Malaysia are represented in the groups. Is that by design or due to earlier performance in the sport?

    @BruceFromOhio:
These three teams didn’t come anywhere near qualifying for the last 32. Indians and Pakistanis, to judge by their expatriate workforce in Malaysia, are huge cricket fans. They flock to the 24-hour eateries we have here during the ricket World Cup. Football, not so much. As for Malaysia, I would expect to see a blizzard in KL before I see us qualify for the World Cup.

@Omnes Omnibus: I know you like rugby. Not sure if you’re aware that the ESPN has the matches via their ESPN+ app. You can watch online but if you have a newer internet connected TV you can download the ESPN app to the TV. Unfortunately they just started charging for it, but it’s about $5/month with a 7 day trial for free so not that expensive. Matches are available for awhile (I think a month) so you don’t have to watch them live.

OT but how ominous is this the immigrant girls are being flown to Miami, what possible purpose could there be for that?

ay give an answer as to what they’re doing to some of the girls.

This is a flight attendants story of having 16 children bound for Miami from Arizona.

    Wtf???
