    @Frankensteinbeck: I saw earlier on Mediate that he said Nunberg was a drunk with a small p.e.n.is., so that might show a tad bit of concern. If he had said a maniac with a small p.e.n.is, then we would know he was talking about trump.

    Much ado about nothing, but I haven’t been able to turn left out of my neighborhood for a month due to road construction. What is left for me is Fresh Market, Trader Joe’s and Home Depot. Google maps is telling me they are opening the road, so I expect to be out and about tomorrow. wahoo Actually the son is coming over to help me get wood for the retaining wall from HD. There is an alternative route but it involve a six lane divided road, and I prefer not to do that with wood hanging out of the trunk.

    Seeing those photos of Barack Obama is so bittersweet. Every now and then I have to remind myself that he was really our president. We really did enjoy 8 years of that extraordinary family representing us to the world. There were concerts and laughter and beauty at the White House.

    I don’t think I’ll ever get over the shock and disgust I feel that we went from hero to zero.

    Her platform centers around? What does that even mean? She has a platform… of visiting places? That’s a schedule – it’s not a “platform”

    And “open to”. Not “I would love to” or “I would be honored to” or anything else a normally polite person might say, but she’s “open to”? Does she think we’re going to beg her to come?

    It’s not even that they’re bad at being President and First Lady. They’re bad at being normal people.

    LeBron James is better at the role model/public face aspects of being the US President than the President.

    The Trumps can’t even graciously pull off a school opening, something every county commissioner can do in his or her sleep. They’re on like Hour Twelve of fucking up what should have been a simple “job well done, Mr. James!”

    * I work in WarriorGirl’s school library because I learned to catalog books when it involved amber CRTs and TELEX. I know everything there is to know about what parents try to donate to school libraries…
