I’m just beat. I’m also leaving town for a while, so hopefully, I’ll find my second wind. I am simultaneously worried about Nov 6 and so very, very tired of it all.

I am worried to the point that I couldn’t sleep last night. This last business of voiding the treaty with Russia that has kept nuclear warheads out of Europe seems to be my breaking point. I want to pack up the cats and run away, somewhere that isn’t a target or in the way of fallout clouds, but I don’t know where that is so I lay awake at night. Furious, scared, feeling helpless.
I voted. I hope we can start to turn things around in November.

I had a full day of travel 2 hrs both ways and a 7 hr meeting. The pups and I are grabbing a slice and enjoying 60 degree. Two days till the beach!

I think the young ones turned out for Beto today. Some places broke records for first day early voting. When he stopped all around Houston the people gathered there to meet him looked like America.

I put my ballot in the mail the other day, and I am so very done. I am pissed off at people a few years younger than me who do not vote AND think that stance is righteous.

@Frankensteinbeck: We went to the rally with Willie at Auditorium Shores here in Austin, and it was amazing. Obviously packed, but whole families, kids running around, it was a real treat. Go Beto!

TaMara, I have been keeping an eye on your bunny hay contest, and I have posted a link a few times.
There appear to be 6 bunny places that could conceivably come out on top, and hay only goes to the top 5.
For awhile, there were only 3 places that were significantly in the lead. Will you front page again? Deadline appears to be Oct 29.
Somehow caring about the bunny house is good therapy for me.
