    Anyone who watched him weave all over that damn red carpet walkway today at G20, side to side, knows he’s about to topple over like a weeble wobble at any moment. That truly tiny little man who greeted him near the entrance to the building kept bouncing off him because Trump couldn’t lumber along in a straight line.

    Hope everyone had a good week. It’s a work weekend for me, but I’m excited for Monday. Aside from the family drama (sigh still waiting on word from my aunt’s sister and immediate family about her services), I was looking forward to the family trip to LA next weekend…but that was cancelled just to ease my mind about being available for my aunt’s service.

    But even as I was sad snot cancelling the weekend trip…I’m still make it to LA for a short rip next week, Mon-Wed. Guess who got a studio audience ticket for the Tuesday taping of Will and Grace…ME!!!

    I’m already planning to get there early as possible…so I can be one of the first in line so I can get into the studio audience!

    Course If I don’t make it into the taping for some reason…IMA be pissed!

    Right now though, only happy thoughts…

    I’m going see Will & Grace ya’ll!!!

    it’s a tight schedule. Flying into Burbank Monday evening after I leave work. Will & Grace taping check in 1:30pm…show taping 2:30-5:30 (but could be longer, depending on ad-libs) then fly back to NOLA 9am Wednesday.

But why the Broward Sheriff’s Office felt the need to go full tactical as part of the local plus up for the VP’s detail I do not know. Nor do I understand it.

    @opiejeanne: There is documentation that President Clinton was, at least, acquaintances with Epstein. There is also documentation that he traveled on Epstein’s jet several times. As for Dershowitz, he helped defend Epstein, was friendly with Epstein, and there are accusations, some more credible than others, that he was involved with the underage girls that Epstein was notorious for exploiting.

    @Adam L Silverman: Yes, I know that Clinton knows Epstein, and I knew about about Dershowitz being accused of being on the “Lolita Express” as it was phrased, but Bill Clinton with underage girls? This is the first I’ve heard of that and I don’t believe it, don’t want to believe it. It looks like an attack on the Clintons because she isn’t dead and could possibly run again in 2020. Even though she said she wouldn’t.

    One of the guys on that short thread referred to Bill as a sexual predator, which is why I think the whole thing stinks of rat-fucking.

What the Miami Herald did was excellent, long form reporting, but this is not a new story. Hopefully between the Herald’s reporting and the lawsuits, some justice will finally be done.

    @opiejeanne: The rumors about President Clinton being at one or more of Epstein’s parties have been around since the 1990s. I’ve never seen anything that corroborates them, but I’ve also never seen anything that conclusively knocks them down either. I’d like to believe that despite President Clinton’s appetites, that he had the self control not to involve himself with this. And I’d also think that given that he’d be traveling with Secret Service escorts that it would be unlikely to happen.

    Trump was on the witness list for Epstein’s trial, but US Attorney Alexander Acosta (now Trump’s Secretary of Labor) gave Epstein a remarkably lenient deal which included Trump no longer having to give evidence.

    Epstein’s legal team included Dershowitz and Ken Starr.

    Read this and not get angry.

    @opiejeanne: If Klion is who I think he is, he’s sort of a freelance journalist these days. Secretary Clinton should definitely be left out of this. But, unfortunately, after 30 plus year of information and psychological warfare, whatever President Clinton may or may not have done is immediately determined to either be something that Secretary Clinton planned, orchestrated, covered up, and/or is otherwise responsible for.

    @Viva BrisVegas: I read the article shortly after it came out and had a pretty decent understanding of the overall history of Epstein and his sweetheart deal for a long time. Other than the attempt to tie President Clinton to Epstein’s crimes, none of Clinton’s sexual improprieties, his affairs and even the retracted accusation of rape, are all of women who are clearly of age. Also, there appears to be a type and that type isn’t body of a teenage girl. The current president, however, has admitted he’s entered the changing room to check out the teenage contestants of his Ms. Teen USA pageants. Has a long history of making inappropriate statements about young women, including teenagers. That isn’t evidence he’s had sex with underage young girls, but it is more of a pattern than anything we know about with President Clinton.

    I saw the accusation during the campaign, and researched it. As nearly as I could tell then:

    Epstein had many many parties of varying natures, with many many attendees who are public figures.
    Only a minority of those parties were the “special” ones.

    Not one of the women who were abused by Epstein and Co and who have come forward have alleged that Bill Clinton was present at one of the “special” parties, nor has anyone else claimed to be a witness. Until such a claim is made, this is all a smear campaign and guilt by association.
    Nor has anyone ever tied the dates of WJC’s visits to the date of one of the “special” parties.

    Also I note that some of the people who are pushing this have been guilty in the past of vile politically-motivated false accusations

    I don’t know if Bill did such a thing; my estimate of his character is not the highest but is several notches above organized bunga-bunga with non-adults, but maybe I’m wrong. Clearly his character is low enough that he was willing to associate with rich scum like Epstein, and that’s a mark against him.

    But as yet there is not one witness claim nor any evidence beyond this :
    – WJC several times rode in Epstein’s jet to attend some event at Epstein’s place

    ETA: Another person who is known to have gone to some of Epstein’s parties is Donald Trump.

    @Adam L Silverman: with as much grief as the Clinton’s have gotten over the last 30 years if there was even a smidgen of proof that either one of them were involved in anything remotely inappropriate with minors they would have been burned at the stake. They have to be 2 of the most investigated individuals in the country…
