    Rachel is worth a listen. Turkish President – also has a son in law who meets up with folks. Sometimes she is long winded – but she explains things in a way even trump would have to understand. He is probably listening as I type.

    Sorry about your crappy day. I’m actually having a good one, for a change. Got the ups on my usual procrastination situation, and set up pretty well for the next seven solid days of work in the sweetest retail shop in Sonoma. It’s usually very busy and my favorite time of year in the shop. And starting an awesome dogsit on Sunday that also includes 5 chickens (named after C&W singer gals) who have the most deluxe coop situation imaginable. Awesome espresso machine in the house. My next day off (Christmas) will be all lattes and omelets! Yay!

    @rikyrah: As Adam would likely point out, Mueller inherited an ongoing investigation. Yes his team has been very productive but they weren’t starting from zero.

    It helped that there was so much criminality scope for the investigation.

    I’ve been tired and grumpy all day and now one of my teeth has suddenly decided to start hurting for no apparent reason, so I gave up and have already put my pajamas on at 6:45 pm.

    But that video did help a bit. ?

    (The tooth thing may be an incipient weather migraine. Ugh)

    @Gravenstone: True, but what he’s done, across multiple lanes of investigation (counterintelligence, foreign involvement in the 2016 election to sway the election and since the election to continue to influence American politics from at least a 1/2 dozen foreign state actors – some allies, some hostile, financial criminal enterprise, obstruction of justice) in a comparatively short time is amazing.

    Apparently one of the stories from the set of Aquaman was that he got annoyed that Amber Heard would read during breaks rather than pay attention to him, so he started ripping the last few pages out of her books so she wouldn’t know how they ended. ?

    Romance Author Twitter has started referring to him as “Gaston,” and it’s not a compliment.

    No surprise the Mid East is starting to be mentioned in court documents. We knew that was, for Trump, a target rich locale, there’s an ocean of dirty money there. So I expect to see many indictments regarding MiddleEastern dirty money.

    I like much about the eastern Med cultures. I just made a baked Kibbeh with garlic yogurt and rice for din, Ummm. good. But the politics are still from the Ottoman era, and the economics from long before that.

    A Fender Champion 100. Probably loud enough to kill me if I really crank it; but I got it for the extra features, I swear. At 18kg it’s actually on the light side: Marshall’s 100W digital combo weighs 5kg more. (I was just on marshall.com; per the spec sheets, a full valve stack weighs some 90kg — 200lb!)

    @Mnemosyne: I think it was more that he appears to be an 8 year old in a 6’4 inch, heavily muscled adult body. If he’d have had an inkwell, he’d have just dipped her pig tails in it.

    That said, I’m looking forward to seeing the movie next week.

    My guess is that it’s because he got into a heated exchange with a woman who was upset by the obscenities because she thought children shouldn’t see them. If I had to speculate, I’d suspect she reported him or something.
