Balloon Juice

Come for the politics, stay for the snark.

Just because you believe it, that does not make it true.

The real work of an opposition party is to hold the people in power accountable.

“Can i answer the question? No you can not!”

A snarling mass of vitriolic jackals

Following reporting rules is only for the little people, apparently.

Some judge needs to shut this circus down soon.

People are complicated. Love is not.

Trump should be leading, not lying.

Jesus, Mary, & Joseph how is that election even close?

Never entrust democracy to any process that requires Republicans to act in good faith.

Nothing worth doing is easy.

The rest of the comments were smacking Boebert like she was a piñata.

Disagreements are healthy; personal attacks are not.

Well, whatever it is, it’s better than being a Republican.

The republican ‘Pastor’ of the House is an odious authoritarian little creep.

No one could have predicted…

Republicans are the party of chaos and catastrophe.

You don’t get to peddle hatred on saturday and offer condolences on sunday.

Boeing: repeatedly making the case for high speed rail.

The words do not have to be perfect.

The real work of an opposition party is to oppose.

Prediction: the gop will rethink its strategy of boycotting future committees.

When they say they are pro-life, they do not mean yours.

Their freedom requires your slavery.

That cover is gorgeous! Who are those two sweet pups? The quizzical looks dogs give just slay me every time.

    @schrodingers_cat:
The oldest cats, Toby and Bea, are showing signs of age. The new boys, Ginger and Ollie, are best buds. Bitsy is my little darling, and Homer is still an asshole.
Gabe is starting to learn manners, and Katie is a Pretty Princess.

Good looking calender! I’m going to get one as soon as I get back to my tablet, easier than the phone to shop from.

    Those two maniacs are mine!

Roo is the red merle and Confetti is the blue.

They will be a year old in February. We adopted them in June from someone who could no longer take care of them because of an illness.

John, you need to add some Steve merchandise at your store. He is a magnificent bastard, and needs his mug on a mug or something. Your most recent photos were great and I’d love to see a pic of him stretching his extra toes.

Not sure, I think G-mail might have turned them into links for Drive because reasons. Yep, Gmail turned them all into individual links, they would have to be downloaded from Drive. I thought they would be in a folder, at least.

Individual pages are hard to see on my phone, but I’m not seeing mine there either. ☹️

Oh well, be getting mine on payday at the end of the month. Getting the tv for our mutual Christmas present to each other (and all the other expenses this time of year) has tightened the purse strings until then.

@jeffreyw: i’m sorry we didn’t get your crew in this year! i did wonder why i didn’t get any photos from you since you’ve been contributing every year i’ve done this, i think. to be sure, i just searched my email and didn’t find any forwarded emails from you via john cole.

if anyone sent their photos in and i didn’t get them or i missed them but they still would like to see them included, send them to me [geology underscore grrrrl at yahoo dot com] and i will do my best to try and fit them in. if you send me photos, don’t buy a calendar until i let you know there are new pages uploaded with your critters.

    So, very kind, Beth.

Mine didn’t make it either, even though I sent Nov 13th. Will send to you again, now.

Was noticing those nice colored squares. May the missing ones fit right in.

Possibly, there is an extra “r” in “4 r” grrrrl in post. Noticed 3 r’s in other handles. So I tried that. Worse that could happen is some other grrrl is getting a nice cat pic.

    Continuing thanks
