Come for the politics, stay for the snark.

Damn right I heard that as a threat.

John Fetterman: Too Manly for Pennsylvania.  Paid for by the Oz for Senator campaign.

Is it negotiation when the other party actually wants to shoot the hostage?

fuckem (in honor of the late great efgoldman)

Reality always lies in wait for … Democrats.

Republicans in disarray!

The revolution will be supervised.

I like you, you’re my kind of trouble.

Come on, man.

Hot air and ill-informed banter

They’re not red states to be hated; they are voter suppression states to be fixed.

Sitting here in limbo waiting for the dice to roll

Consistently wrong since 2002

Putin must be throwing ketchup at the walls.

🎶 Those boots were made for mockin’ 🎵

I know this must be bad for Joe Biden, I just don’t know how.

The worst democrat is better than the best republican.

Proof that we need a blogger ethics panel.

Being the leader of the world means to be the leader of peace.

Red lights blinking on democracy’s dashboard

Yeah, with this crowd one never knows.

Battle won, war still ongoing.

But frankly mr. cole, I’ll be happier when you get back to telling us to go fuck ourselves.

So, today is Wednesday and not yesterday, as I thought until mid-morning. Sorry I ran Bill’s fantastic work a day early, and am running this today, but these things happen – have a wonderful day, and enjoy the pictures!

Today, pictures from valued commenter Redshift.

A few of my favorite scenes and signs from the March.

The Trump International Hive of Scum and Villainy was a popular backdrop along the march route.

    @debbie:

    Washington, D.C., I believe, since Redshift lives in NoVA.

    ETA: Also, the Trump International Hotel is pictured.

    There were also quite a few Trump Baby balloons, mostly a foot high but at least one three feet, so I guess those are being mass produced now, which makes me happy. Every so often a big cheer would go up when one happened to break loose and float off into the sky.

    @waratah: Thanks! It was a really good crowd for a damn cold DC day.

    Also, we were supposed to be on the Mall, but the snow hadn’t been cleared there because of the shutdown. According to the organizers, the government tried to get them to cancel, but they told them “you’re not going to stop people from marching somewhere,” so they gave us Pennsylvania Avenue, which worked out well.

    Great photos — thanks for marching and for taking pictures, Redshift. I especially love the pink hard hats and the pink-hatted baby! And the Pelosi sign! And Trump behind bars! and EquALLity! And all the rest!

    @Redshift:

    Thanks. I can’t keep everyone’s locations straight. I was thinking Boston.
