Balloon Juice

Come for the politics, stay for the snark.

When your entire life is steeped in white supremacy, equality feels like discrimination.

New McCarthy, same old McCarthyism.

A last alliance of elves and men. also pet photos.

Give the craziest people you know everything they want and hope they don’t ask for more? Great plan.

No offense, but this thread hasn’t been about you for quite a while.

“Jesus paying for the sins of everyone is an insult to those who paid for their own sins.”

Whatever happens next week, the fight doesn’t end.

Good lord, these people are nuts.

If you are still in the GOP, you are an extremist.

When do we start airlifting the women and children out of Texas?

Why is it so hard for them to condemn hate?

I did not have this on my fuck 2022 bingo card.

The truth is, these are not very bright guys, and things got out of hand.

It may be funny to you motherfucker, but it’s not funny to me.

No one could have predicted…

Jesus, Mary, & Joseph how is that election even close?

The arc of history bends toward the same old fuckery.

I like you, you’re my kind of trouble.

It’s the corruption, stupid.

Imperialist aggressors must be defeated, or the whole world loses.

Consistently wrong since 2002

The worst democrat is better than the best republican.

Our job is not to persuade republicans but to defeat them.

So it was an October Surprise A Day, like an Advent calendar but for crime.

BREAKING: The House Intelligence Committee just voted to release all witness transcripts from our Russia investigation to the Department of Justice and Special Counsel Mueller.

— Adam Schiff (@RepAdamSchiff) February 6, 2019

… For today’s “Executive Time”, buses will be prepped for throwing (former) cronies & family members under…

NEW: Per @NBCNews, the House Intelligence Committee will send 7,000+ pages of transcripts from hearings & interviews to Mueller. Partial list of transcripts includes:

-Jared Kushner
– Brad Parscale
– Jeff Sessions
– Alexander Nix
– Steve Bannon
– Hope Hicks
– Corey Lewandowski

— Caroline Orr (@RVAwonk) February 6, 2019

Intel Chairman @AdamSchiff, after vote to send Mueller transcripts from Russia interviews, says cmte will also soon announce parameters for renewed probe that he says goes beyond Russia. Says it’ll be done “in concert with other committees.”

Mueller needed official copies of these transcripts to indict perjurers.

Alexa, order all of the popcorn. Yes, all of it. E-Trade, buy popcorn futures.

Been wondering what the Alexa-Djinn might deliver for a while now for “all the popcorn” wishes. (Popcorn futures, well, that might have unintended consequences. Just saying… :-)
    Popcorn Profile

Popcorn was produced by 1,040 farms on over 218,461 acres during 2012 (most recent data). Popcorn production totaled 785.7 million pounds. Nebraska is the top popcorn-producing state and produced 353.7 million pounds of shelled popcorn, or 44% of all popcorn production. Indiana, Illinois, and Ohio are also top producers of popcorn.

That’s 393 kilotons of popcorn production in 2012. (Nearly all popcorn is produced in the US.)
Depending on how often people order all the popcorn, you might only have it for a short while before it was all wished away to bury another neighborhood.
