Balloon Juice

Come for the politics, stay for the snark.

Let there be snark.

We’ve had enough carrots to last a lifetime. break out the sticks.

You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take. Go Senator Whitehouse!

Jack Smith: “Why did you start campaigning in the middle of my investigation?!”

Everything is totally normal and fine!!!

When someone says they “love freedom”, rest assured they don’t mean yours.

No Justins, No Peace

If you’re pissed about Biden’s speech, he was talking about you.

We cannot abandon the truth and remain a free nation.

Republicans are radicals, not conservatives.

They’re not red states to be hated; they are voter suppression states to be fixed.

It’s easy to sit in safety and prescribe what other people should be doing.

Republican obstruction dressed up as bipartisanship. Again.

They traffic in fear. it is their only currency. if we are fearful, they are winning.

Historically it was a little unusual for the president to be an incoherent babbling moron.

A thin legal pretext to veneer over their personal religious and political desires

… pundit janitors mopping up after the GOP

Someone should tell Republicans that violence is the last refuge of the incompetent, or possibly the first.

“Everybody’s entitled to be an idiot.”

You don’t get to peddle hatred on saturday and offer condolences on sunday.

This blog will pay for itself.

They were going to turn on one another at some point. It was inevitable.

“What are Republicans afraid of?” Everything.

Jack be nimble, jack be quick, hurry up and indict this prick.

    Nice macro work.

After George Harrison’s death, they planted a tree as a memorial for him by the trailhead at the northern end of the Griffith Observatory parking lot(George’s widow is from LA). It was a nice pine tree. About 10 years later, it started look sickly, they determined that it had been infested with bark beetles(or Beatles).

ETA: They’ve since planted a new tree to memorialize George, it’s not a pine tree.

Alain, if you’re around, this is my periodic reminder that the submission form still doesn’t like the ampersand in my nym.
